HI all! I'm new to the forum. My due date is June 30th with my first. I lost a lot of weight leading up to my wedding this past October because DH and I knew we wanted to start TTC right away. I basically got pregnant right away and gained more than I'd like to admit in my first trimester. I slacked on myfitnesspal for a…

A great accomplishment and in only 9 months! Congratulations to you and a very happy birthday. Treat yourself to something nice today, like a massage or a new outfit. It's a great way to celebrate!

You both look AMAZING!!!! Congratulations on your weightloss success! How do you both feel now that you've lost so much weight?????

Thank would be Core RHYTHMS - apparently being a music teacher doesn't help spelling a word that I teach all the time in my classroom - LOL!

Core Rythms work out DVDs have different styles of Latin Dance - Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa, Paso Doble, Swing, etc and you definitely work up a sweat. I also have a Dancing with the Stars DVD that I found at WalMart that I enjoy. For me I love Zumba and find going to a class much more intense and fun than the DVDs - this also…

My fiance and I started dating when we was 27 and I was 29. By the time we get married in October we'll be 29 and 31. Many of my friends got married between the ages of 23-26, so I'm the late bloomer of the group. I think love is out there for anyone, it doesn't matter your age. A positive outlook and a little faith can go…

My fiance and I met doing summer musical theatre at a local college. We hit it off really well and decided to go on a couple of dates. When we realized we weren't in the same place we decided to remain friends and continued to talk, text, facebook, and get together with mutual friends. The next summer we did another show…

I was doing Zumba at my heaviest, which was about 275 - but didn't have a lot of "time" in my schedule - it was an excuse. When I started doing Zumba again I was at 245 and have been doing that as my Saturday morning routine for about a year now. I love it and burn on average 900-1000 calories, using my HRM. Now that I've…

For Lent this year I'm obstaining from two things: 1. Frivolous spending - I don't need to buy things just because I have a little extra money. My fiancè and I are planning our wedding and the extra $20 here or $10 there can add up fast. 2. Smartphone overuse - I bought my first Smartphone in December and I ALWAYS on in…

I've lost 62 lbs and once I lost my first 20 I was noticing a change in how I was never feeling hot. Once I lost 30 lbs I was layering my clothes more. Now I can't walk around the house at night without my socks, slippers, fleece pajamas, and a blanket. My fiance is also noticing that he's not as warm anymore and he's down…

For me, I indulged but I also worked out. I went to Zumba Christmas Eve morning (a normal Saturday class), walked the treadmill Christmas night, ran on the treadmill yesterday morning, and then went to Zumba again tonight. I manage to lose 1.5 lbs since my last weigh in. So right now I'm feeling pretty good about things.…

Hi everyone - I hope you're all geared up and ready for this December challenge. I'm excited to try and lose 5lbs. I lost almost 12 last month, so we'll see how this month goes. Since I was lucky enough to be the biggest loser this is the challenge I'm starting everyone with this week: Do 30 minutes (at least) of a workout…

Ok, who is this girl? I mean serioously. I really am [proud of myself. Once I got in the mindset that the weight needed to come off, it's been relatively easy for me. Sometimes getting engaged and wanting to start a family is all it takes! Thank you fibrogirl for the shoutout! :flowerforyou: This week I challenge you to…

So I've been extremely busy this week and FINALLY had a chance to look at this group. To my happy eyes I saw that I had won this weeks challenge AND I had already met my goal of 5 pounds lost. I'm very excited for this accomplishment and posting a challenge is just a bonus. *CHALLENGE* Choose TWO things from the list below…
