I would say try to eat something, even if it's just a little. If you skip lunch and then feel hungry at 2 pm, do you have the ability to eat? If you don't and you have to wait for dinner, you may be too hungry and then over eat.

I recently bought some Ryka's and I love them. It was suggested to me to buy them 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear and I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly. They're light and airy and won't break the bank either.

I noticed that too when I first signed up on MFP. I thought it was a little odd so I went under tools and used the BMR calculator. It came up with something other than 1200 and I adjusted my daily calorie goal to that number. So far it works.
