To each, their own... I've never been attracted to "skinny" girls. I like women with curves!

I love beer! I don't drink one every day, but I have several each week. I had five yesterday and still met my calorie goal. One of the reasons I exercise as much as I do, is so I can indulge my beer habit. Oh yeah, I started brewing my own beer last year. :drinker: One thing I've noticed about beer since joining MFP is the…

I'm going with friends to the midnight show on Friday. I just finished reading "Hunger Games" on Saturday and excited to see the movie.

Congratulations! Nothing like the first one. Perhaps this will be the first of many. Cheers!

I think goblet squats are a superior exercise to performing a dumbbell squat with your arms hanging at your side. You could try the Push-Press, where you hold dumbbells at your shoulders, squat, and then do a shoulder press at the top of the squat. If you feel like some variety, try a Bulgarian Split Squat. It requires…

I LOVE beer! I log all of my beers and will cut back on snacks to indulge my drinking habits. It's a great motivator, the more I work out, the more beer I can enjoy! Cheers!

I have another option for you if you encounter a "total *****" Try "Oh, I'm sorry. I mistook you for a lady". Cheers!

Chivalry is dead? I disagree. Maybe it's a Southern thing, but I was raised to respect my elders and to be a gentleman. I will always offer my seat to a female or an older person. A couple of years ago I was at one a lab for blood work first thing in the morning and the place was packed. I witnessed at least a dozen men…

I log all of my exercise activity...walking, running, boxing, lifting, etc. I think my dog is pleased that I joined MFP because I've been taking her for more walks.

I love beer, and have it regularly. If I think I'm going to enjoying three or four beers in an evening, I put in extra time at the gym, or get in a run. St. Patrick's Day isn't a big deal to me, I'll drink my usual two or three on a Saturday night. I have Victory Moonglow, Lagunitas Imperial Red Ale and Cigar City Jai Alai…

I've never taken one of their programs, but I'm thinking about a half later this year. do you have a race picked out?

Mine is a picture taken before my first 5K, 30-Jul-2011. No special meaning, just one of the few pics of me where I'm not flipping off the camera person, or drinking a beer. :drinker:

Burpees. I hate them. I do them, but I hate them.

Beer! I will gladly cut back on my food intake to indulge myself with tasty craft beer. :drinker:

A squat thrust is a burpee without a pushup. Burpees are a great exercise and I hate them. I do them, but I hate them.

Almost every time I work out. Generally go at 6:30am, so it's train, shower, commute to work. I sweat so profusely that I would hate to sit down in my car all sweaty and nasty.

Wow, all the hate for Lori, and I thought it was just me. :) I don't have a true favorite, but I like Glenn & Daryl. Great show.

People who take up machines and space while talking on the phone, reading, etc, etc... and never working up a sweat.

Hi Lena, It's already been posted, but consistency is key. I'd also say patience is important. Slow and steady will get you to where you want to go. You say you're working out, what are you doing? If you're meeting your calorie goals, perhaps an increase in you exercise intensity, or the types of exercise you're performing…

I love MMA and all forms of combat sports. I was very impressed with Rousey's victory over Tate. Looking forward to seeing Jon Jones v Raschad Evans next month.

Any exercise counts. I split my workouts between home and the gym. If you're doing Wii Fit that certainly counts. Doing something you enjoy will help you to exercise regularly.

Mine is before I fan my first organize 5K 30-Jul-2011. I'll have to update, although I'm in about the same shape and weight.

Mornings work best for me. I go to a boxing class M-W-F's at 6:30am. I find that by having a class to attend, I'll get myself up and go to the gym, whereas the days I don't have class I'm less enthusiastic about getting up and exercising. I think its the commitment to the class that gets me up and going. The other days of…
