I have a jawbone that I received as a gift Christmas 2013. I use it, but I'm not sure how much faith I have in it. I'm on my third one as the first two died after 4 months of use. I was wearing it while I was doing my boxing/kick boxing class, and I don't think it was built to take the concussion. I've been putting it in…

I think it depends on what exercises you're doing. You can safely exercise every day, if you manage the intensity of the exercise. For instance, you can walk every day, but I wouldn't recommend running 5 miles every day. Slow and steady will get you where you want to go. Consistency is key. You can do it!

Done! I didn't go to the gym, so the dips were bench dips, but everything else was more than listed.

I'm not sure how many ounces my water bottle holds (new Christmas gift) but I filled it up and drained it several times. I think I made the number, or was very close.

Agree! I feel the same way when I hear, "you're in great shape for your age" Almost always from someone 20 years my junior, and my typical response is "I'm in great shape for YOUR age" Whenever you qualify a compliment, it's no longer a compliment. IMHO.

I'm planning on doing the Florida Tough Mudder in May! It sounds like a lot of fun. Hard work, but fun.

I love my beer and make it a practice to sample as many different craft beers as possible. My current list is 1,449 different beers since I started keeping track. I find my tastes change over time, but I still love IPA's particularly Sweetwater IPA and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Oak Aged Jai Alai from Cigar City Brewing…

I've been training at L.A. Boxing for a couple of years. M-W-F mornings, I'm there at 6:30am to train. The classes that we do will definitely help you raise your level of fitness. Running, burpees, squats, lunges, push ups, planks, mountain climbers, etc... We do a lot of heavy bag work, foot work drills, etc. The classes…

Greetings from Central Florida! I don't consider myself a "runner", but I started training for a HM (my first) this week. Last year I ran a couple of 5K's, and plan to run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure as long as I am able. I decided to run a HM to gave a goal to work towards. I've been a "workout guy" most of my…

Life long Cowboy fan. I grew up in San Antonio and watching the Cowboys on CBS and the Oilers on NBC every Sunday. How I miss Tom Landry. Cheers!

I love craft beer! One of the reasons I exercise every day is so I can indulge my habit without guilt or remorse. A day without beer just kind of sucks.

I spent most of my 40's bouncing between 245lbs to 275lbs. In 2009 I switched up my exercise routine and quit snacking late at night. I dropped 25lbs in a couple of months. I kept my weight under 230lbs for a couple of years, then late in 2011, early in 2012 I started backsliding and my weight went up to around 236lbs. I…

I exercise every day. M-W-F mornings I participate in a boxing class at 6:30am. T-Th I get up, walk the dog for 15 minutes or so, then either run, skip rope, or do calisthenics. Sat & Sun is a mixed bag. I almost always walk my dog for at least 20 minutes or so, sometimes I take another boxing or kickboxing class,…

I would get the tattoo. S/O's can come and go, but ink is forever. At least it is for me. Getting a tattoo is extremely personal and the only opinion that matters is yours. Good luck!

Excellent progress! Nice ink. Keep up the good work.
