Hope by now you're up and feeling better (remember, walking helps with the gas pain :) )

Oh honey. You def don't need a kick in the butt! I will tell you what I was told - the "rules" you were given are a guideline, something to work towards. If you can't get in all your fluids or protein, it's ok. Just keep trying. You are only 3 weeks out from MAJOR surgery, you are still swollen, you are still healing.…

What you are experiencing is a normal process of healing. My dr told me to test various foods, if you can tolerate them, great. If not, stay away from them for a few weeks and try again. I would not force myself to eat certain foods if your body can not tolerate them yet. Just stick with what works and avoid the reflux.…

I would suggest you see your Dr. and discuss.

You look gorgeous! (and happy too :) )

sounds like you've got it covered Sammers  (and g/l on the bar exam!!!)

Congrats on finally getting a surgery date! I have never heard of a VSG being done as an outpatient procedure. I would have a conversation with your surgeon about how that would work and his/her thoughts. It might also be worthwhile to have your dr challenge that decision with your insurance company (they won't even do the…

I guess I'm going against the majority of posters who commented but I would eat turkey, chicken and salad (not potato salad). There will always be great tasting food around, it's all about choices. Just saying..............

Good Luck! I'm sure you will breeze thru it. If you head is in the right place, you will be unstoppable :)

You look amazing!

I hope it works for you. I am the biggest skeptic and never expected it to help me. But I'm a believer now!

I had almost given up, I continued to lose hair for months and months. I was eating over 100 g of protein daily, taking biotin etc but I still was losing a significant amount of hair. As a last ditch effort, I tried Journey hair balance vitamins. I was skeptical but thought it was worth a shot. These vitamins really work…

Ducolax once a week. It's the only thing that helps me.

Synthrax Nectar - the best!

Whatever. Now I remember why I stay away from this site. I know what my stats are and I know how accurate it is for me. Good luck to you

Those are not my specific stats. I copied the link as an example Each person needs to enter THEIR OWN INFORMATION

I need to eat under 1200 calories to lose weight based on my height, activity level, age and weight. I have found this calculator to be fairly accurate in determining how many calories I need to eat to lose and maintain.…

relentless - I love, love, LOVE Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino Latte. I have it every day, I mix one packet (I buy it in the grab & go packs) into 8 oz of decaf coffee and fill the cup with ice, It's amazing and a great way to get in your protein. And it's caffeine free :)

congrats on your surgery, it can change your life. I want to comment, hopefully you won't take my comment the wrong way. I'm worried about your mindset. If you are not hungry and have no desire to eat, you need to get past your desire to eat. That is how a "thin person" thinks and acts. Food needs to become something you…
