Look at your smile! Well done.

I think your only options are to use the My Recipe option or to create a new entry in the database.

I always round up when in doubt...so for me, if I was logging, I would count 1 carb per tbsp. Plus I would add calories (assume 4 calories per gram of carb)

I love this one because it weighs to the .1 of an ounce. I'm a little obsessed with accurate weighing ;)

@JDMac82 - it might be cliche but - thank you for your service and sacrifice.

When I was in the losing weight mode, I weighed once a week - Monday morning, always after peeing and before eating anything ;). Now that I'm in maintenance mode, I weigh daily (after peeing and before eating) and log/track in Libra for trending.

Congrats on the new job :)

This is my understanding based on everything I have read about erythritol. It is not absorbed.

This is awesome! I love your perseverance. I love your determination. And most importantly, I love that you advocated for yourself. So many lessons in your story. Congratulations on your weight loss and for getting your life back.

Here's the thing - if it's skin that has stretched and lost it's elasticity, no amount of recomp, lifting etc will help. Losing more weight will only make it worse (as others have said). I am a huge believer in doing whatever it takes to make yourself more comfortable/happy in your own skin. My vote (if we are voting) is…

Bumping this because it's changed my life! @annatwin78 - you have no idea how you have changed my life ;). thank you!

Sounds like you need a new physician. To be perfectly blunt, we are talking about your health here. Your Dr should be your health partner. And you need to play the role of your advocate. You should understand why you are taking meds, not be forced to ask questions on a message board. (please know that I posted this with…

Dawn, just an fyi - the foam (for me) is an indication I am eating either too fast or too much. I did have the problem eating chicken and turkey. I am over 6 years out and on rare occasions, I experience some foaming. My best advice to you is to be mindful of what you are eating, drinking and how quickly and how much. Take…

Slow Down! Take sips and make that 4oz take an hour to finish. Did your surgeon provide you with any post op instructions?

At 2 weeks post surgery, I was still on full (clear) liquids. My best advise is to not rush it and follow your dr's instructions. You're doing an awesome job, keep it up!

Tink, If this occurred more than one time, call the police! This might be related to your weight loss, it might not be. Stalking is not the same as "normal" advances from the opposite sex. This is a personal safety issue as DJRonnieLINY mentioned. Please take care of yourself.

What size are you now? In general you can estimate every 10 - 12 lbs is one size. When you get to a size 6ish, each 5lbs is roughly one size. (Very rough estimate as vanity sizing, euro sizing etc impacts the formula ;) )

Asia, this is such a great question. I'm 3 years 8 months out and reached my goal weight within the first year. I continued to log, measure and track. The only time I stopped logging, measuring and tracking was about a year and a half ago and during that time, I managed to gain about 40lbs. I think I was rebelling. I was…

Theda, your honesty in this post is why so many in this group look at you as a mentor. You have been (and continue to be) incredibly honest and transparent in your posts. Changing a lifelong relationship with food is hard. The easy part of this journey is losing weight. The hard part is to recognize the why and then…

Even at 3.5 years out, I'm still eating 6 times a day. My routine now is a cup of coffee when I first wake up, an hour or so later I drink a cup of protein hot chocolate (usually Nashua Nutrition HealthSmart Amaretto or Chocolate with Marshmallow). Then a few hours later I have a serving of Proti Diet protein oatmeal.…
