Hi, I'm Heather! I've used MFP as a tool to successfully lose weight before, but then got overconfident and gained it all back and then some. I just completed a Whole30. I started this year out at 200. I'm currently down to 182.5 and I'd love nothing more for Christmas than to lose 20 pounds!

I am currently working on my cosplay for next year's con which will be the Siren Dress from Alice the Madness

Ooooo pick me! Lol. I was able to use MFP to get down to my goal weight years ago but have gained it all back and was looking for a challenge to motivate me. I'm 5'5", current weight is 187 and I'd love to be 170 by Halloween!

This is PERFECT! I believe I'd like to go on an adventure :) Journey started 3/2/2013 Started in a mild, winter storm so the terrain was a bit treacherous. Ran into some type of hound, but was able to evade him. Made it across the bridge over the Water and about 1.3 miles down the road to Bywater. Had to set up camp as the…

Recently diagnosed with Adult ADHD after talking to my son's counselor who told me the fact both of my boys have it meant I could. Never knew it was genetic. After talking with a psychiatrist myself (I was tired of dealing with the symptoms and never knowing why I was the way I was) I got my diagnosis and am currently…

I'll do day 3 of week one of B210K tomorrow morning. I was running this along with my Zombies, Run! app.....but I dont' think I will again. Just running what the program calls for is the most I can do right now, without doing sprintervals as I run from random mobs of zombies. I'll keep my zombie runs just for extra :)

Super nice!!! I'd just be happy to get mine done in 30. Grats to you!

My favorite workout is RUNNING! I'm training for my first ever 5K, and I actually just started a program to get myself up to 10K distance. My least favorite workout would probably be just straight up aerobics....complicated dance stuff that just makes me feel uncoordinated lol. I weigh actually quite a lot, but I don't…

A Star Trek fitness support group? Yes please! Sign me up! I'm Scarlett, and have to say that if I could pattern myself after any of my fave Star Trek characters, it would be Kira Nerys. I guess that makes me Bajoran....didn't see any of those in the group yet  In real life I am a 35 year old mom of four (my…

Ok! So a while back I did the C25K program and loved it. Now I'm looking for....a bit more. I downloaded an app called Bridge to 10K, supposed to be for 5K running program grads. This first workout was a monster, but I'm looking forward to being able to do what the workouts in the last week of the program say.....run for…

Option A sounds fun.

The 17 Day Diet helped me to take off weight that I have been trying to lose for 10 years after having 4 children. I would highly recommend it

I did C25K all the way through week 7 and then spent 3 months not running. Once the weather got nice again I decided I'd try my running shoes out again, see how much I'd lost from not running so long. I surprised myself by being pretty much right where I left off, even with 3 months of not hitting the pavement! It was at…

People keep saying this to me.....you just never know. I keep being told how someday I'll be signing up for half marathons and marathons. I keep telling these people that I am doing good to run the 5k distance! And that's when they tell me...."You just never know. I started out running only 5K's too and now I'm running…

My first and foremost goal is very simple.....when I hit that starting line for my very first 5K, I want to be able to run the WHOLE thing!...Maybe eventually get to the point where I could handle a 10k.

Hullo everybody! I just joined this group because I LOVE to run! I started out with the C25K program, but now I pretty much just freestyle. I run wearing Saucony Kinvaras which I LOVE, they are so lightweight and comfortable! I am running my first 5K on April 14th for Relay for Life, and then I have another to run in…

Everyone has to do what works for them. I don't monitor my sugar. I monitor my carbs (always try to stay way under), my proteins (always try to reach my protein goal or go over), and my calcium (as osteoporosis is something I don't want to have to look forward to). It's what works for me.
