  • I don't mind at all. Good luck on your journey!!!
  • My plan was basically listening to my trainer & doing what she told me to do. She started me out slowly, as I had not been eating enough, nor was I doing any cardio. She had me staying after our workouts (of which I met with her 3 times a week) & do 30min of cardio. Eventually I started coming in on the other days to do…
  • Most definitely!!!! If I eat something salty, I can only eat very little of it. I can have like only 1 or 2 chips, and that can satisfy any cravings I may have. I can't eat anything greasy anymore. It just doesn't taste the same as before and isn't very appetizing. I don't drink soda anymore, so if I do indulge, I can only…
  • I never have a 'Cheat Day', but I do have a 'Cheat Meal' once a week. My trainer says it's good to shock your system so it doesn't get used to the same things all of the time. Even though I do have a cheat meal, I still try not to go overboard with junk. I never do fast food anymore as my body would no longer ba able to…
  • Congrats!!!!!
  • I hope everyone has a GREAT day today!!! Later. :drinker: SG :glasses:

  • I use the stairmaster occasionaly. My gym also only has two so they are busy a lot of the time. Also, I just twisted my ankle and broke my toe a few weeks ago, so I have been sticking to the bike & rower and more recently the elliptical since they are easier on my foot. When I do use the stairmaster, I do 30min at level 6.…
  • You look GREAT!!!!! Keep up the great work. :drinker:
  • Thanks ALL!!! :blushing: I do feel great & I feel like I should have hit my 30th this year, not my 40th- LOL. Though maybe that's just me dreaming. :drinker:
  • Thanks!!!!! If I can do it, anyone can. It may seem like I lost my weight in record time, but believe me, that's not the case. I started on my weight loss journey about 8 years ago. I had been working out 2 to 3 days a week and eating sometimes good but mostly bad. I would lose then gain and keep yo-yo-ing. Mostly I just…

  • Thanks!! I do. I feel the best I have felt in YEARS!!!!!!!!! The hard work was most definitely worth it. But the work is never done. This has become my new lifestyle and I hope to never going back to the lazy me.

  • Thanks. :blushing: And I feel GREAT!!!!!!!!! :drinker:
  • I completely changed my eating habits. I eat 5 to 6 times a day, and as clean as possible, which means no frozen foods, etc, except I do have either one protein bar or shake a day. I have the bar on my off days, and the shake on my work-out days. I have 1/2 my shake before my work-out, and the other 1/2 after the work-out.…
  • Wow, you look awesome. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :drinker: :drinker: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • Honestly I still see the 'same' me when I look in the mirror. When I looked in the mirror I never saw an overweight girl, just a 'big' girl. When I see pictures of me then it's like wow, I can't believe I was that big. When I look at pics of me now, I don't recognize the girl in the pics, she looks too skinny. But it's…
  • Its never too late. I didn't start taking my pics until April of 2008, so I got a late start with the pics.
  • I measure my neck, right upper arm, rt forearm, chest, waist, hips, rt thigh, & rt calf.
  • In October I had a wake-up call at work, I was walking around & having a hard time breathing. At the same time I started working with a trainer that would not take my lame excuses on why I was not doing any cardio. Once I got into the habit of coming into the gym every day it got easier & I actually started looking forward…
  • Thanks all!! :blushing:
  • I have been told by the trainers at my gym to cut the calories in half from what the machines say. I have noticed that their guestimate is pretty close after I started wearing my Heart Rate Monitor. Depending on how long I go for its usually pretty close to half of what the machines say, though maybe just a hair more than…
  • Here is a photo journal of my journey. I actually started my weight loss journey in October, though the first picture was in April of 2007. The weight & measurements were the same from April to October. October was when I got my act together and really put an effort into my new lifestyle.
  • Good Morning!!!!! I'm back to work after a NICE LONG week at the Lake. I didn't get enough sun though- jk LOL. Now it's back to my long days and working the weekend. It's all good. Hope everyone has a great day and weekend coming up. :flowerforyou: Shari :glasses:
