While staying at a hotel over the weekend I actually worked out on the elliptical while there!! I NEVER would have done that before!!

I think you did an amazing job!! It turned out really great!! Of course you're pretty amazing so I'm not surprised  I personally think burning calories doing things around home is a great idea!! Home projects have always been a great way for me to burn some calories.

I agree with Carolemack....do it while you're young!! I remember being 23 and wanting to lose some weight. That was back when I weighed 170 pounds, I WISH I weighed that now!! I made a few token attempts to change things but it never really happened. DO IT NOW!! Time goes by so fast!! My oldest daughter is now your age and…

Funny you would ask this question because I was wondering the same thing. I've only been trying my hand "running" for two weeks. I started jogging 50 steps the first day. Then walk. Then jog another 50. The next day I thought I bet I could go 100 steps...and I could. Then walk a bit and do another 100. The third day I…

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. May sound really crazy but I'm excited to hear it took you 2 1/2 years to get the 100lbs. off. I'm almost at my year anniversary and I've only lost lost around 30lbs. and feeling a bit discouraged. Especially when so many people have lost so much more by their year mark. So, I have a renewed…

Such a transformation!! Obviously you've done a lot of hard work! Great job!! :flowerforyou: I haven't read through all the posts so maybe someone has already asked but....how tall are you and what did you do to get to where you're at and how long did it take you? You were adorable before and even more so now! Thanks for…

At my local health food store I pick up low carb bread. It's made by Julian Baker Smart Carb, Hi-protein bread. It's pretty yummy! And only 2 net carbs per slice. It's a bit pricey (around $6 a loaf) You can use it for sandwiches, french toast, etc. Pretty much anything you use regular bread for. I'm so glad I found it…

You've done a great job!! I'm almost at my one year mark too. I haven't done as well as you but I'm sure I've not been as committed as you have been. I'm still happy the scale is going down and not up!! HaHa! Congrats again!! :flowerforyou:

You look beautiful!! From where I sit now I would be thrilled to be where you're "before" pictures were...haha! I definitely would love to be where you're "after" photos are. Eventually I suppose. I wish I would have gotten serious about getting in shape when I was your age. I always wanted to be healthier but never had…

I'm fine with women eating 1200 calories. Not a big deal. I usually struggle eating only that much unless I'm really smart with my food choices so I feel full and satisfied. It's when I see people below 1200 calories I worry. Especially when they do it day after day. That is so not healthy. :ohwell:

My weight loss hasn't been extremely fast because for me I wanted it to be a lifestyle change not just a quick fix. And to be honest there are times in my life where finding time to work out has been hard. I've still managed to lose with just light exercise for most of it. I've managed to do this not living on only a 1200…

34 pounds so far  Still have another 40 to 60 to go depending how I look and feel when I get there. It's been a slow process for me but I haven't deprived myself completely because I know this needs to be a lifestyle change not just a diet. I know I'll never completely cut out fast food and treats so I have them…
