Great job everybody!!

I'm 30 years old, 5'4" and I eat 1200-1400 calories a day. I also exercise for an hour or two every day, both cardio and strength training, and don't eat my calories back. Since New Years, I've lost 20 lbs. I also have hypothyroidism, am not on meds and have been told by doctors that it would be nearly impossible to lose…

I'm in!

A new wardrobe of smaller clothes and a tattoo that says "She believed she could and so she did." on my ribs.

You may want to go get a thyroid panel done. I had the same problem where no matter how much a cut calories or increased exercise, I gained weight. When I started to get really irritable and have anxiety attacks, I went to the doctor and lo and behold, I had hypothyroidism.

39.4 Miles walked so far. Been sick with a bad cold, so I'm hoping that clears up soon. It's killing my endurance!

Thanks for posting the whole week! I have them all written on my fitness board. :)

I didn't see the curtsy squat, so I did 70 regular BW squats this morning while my coffee was brewing. I went back later and did my curtsy squats though! 35 on each leg.

You are awesome (and a total hottie)! As someone who also lost weight for their child, I have a deep appreciation for your story. Thank you for Sharing it. :)

I went from 265 to 188 by walking 2-3 miles a day. At first, I walked about 2.5 mph, but now I walk 5-10 miles a day at 4.5 mph. I love it and it's great for your heart and stress level. The recommended amount is 30 min of brisk walking (3mph) 3-5 times a week, but I'd recommend doing it every day if you can.

Early mornings are the only time I have to myself. I get up at 7:00, knock out my daily squat challenge while the coffee is brewing, eat breakfast and then do 30 minutes of cardio while I catch up on one of the shows I'm behind on. Then I still have a few minutes before I have to wake my daughter up and get ready for work.…

I cut back to one or two beers when I'm out with friends, which only happens once a week. No more keeping it at home. If I know I'm going out, I'll just eat fewer calories throughout the day and get in a decent workout. A friend of mine combats his love of good beer by riding his bike to the bar or brewery.

An apple! It's the best snack I've found to actually fill me up. Probably because they're high in fiber. And fruit helps with those TOM sweets cravings. :)

Hello! I'll go next. :) my name is Kim, i'm 30 years old and I live in Princeton, Illinois. I'm a single mom with a 4 year old daughter. I've lived in Texas my whole life, but I moved up here a year ago after I separated from my husband so that I could be closer to family. I've always been overweight, and I hit my highest…

I think that's a great idea. I believe when you set up the group, the group gets its own message board. I'm not positive though. I'd be interested in joining though. I'm 30, a mom, a devoted user of both MFP and Fitocracy. My diaries are viewable and I make notes about all of my workouts. My focus is really getting fit and…

Seinfeld! One of the greatest sitcoms ever made.

Are you like an 18 in Hollister jeans, because you look amazing! I am now completely jealous. I'm a 14 and I don't look that small! Rock those curves. Also, I think the real problem that the OP has is just that there was not an "hour glass" option. No one in the article was calling you fat OP, but there are actually very…

I actually know how you feel. My parents divorced when I was two and I lived with my mom, my little brother and whatever loser she was married to as I was growing up. My mom wasn't mean spirited, but she was overly critical. She grew up with a lot of self-esteem issues herself, and she projected those onto me. She always,…

Exactly how I feel. I log the exercise but I just don't eat back the calories. I like logging not only to see how much I did, but to have a buffer cushion in my calorie count so that I don't stress if I have an extra 100 or so calories in the day. It's like a bank account. i like to have a little to play with, but i don't…

One of my biggest goals is to have a smaller chest as well, and I've noticed that as I've lost weight, while my cup size stays the same (always and forever a DD) they seem to appear more proportionate as my band size goes down. I went from a 42DD to a 36DD and they do seem to be a lot smaller. My sister, who weighs 130 -…

I've alway had the misfortune of watching the problems that occur when one doesn't correctly take care of themselves. My mom eats healthy foods, but sticks to a strict 600 calorie a day diet and the only exercise she's ever done is a minimal amount of cardio. Therefore, try as she might, as she gets older she can't keep…

In for 200 miles for March! I managed 178.5 last month, so I'm looking to up that. Go, go gadget legs!
-
Did mine! One set of 50. :)

I love the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds series. They're fun and effective without being total killers, and they're full-body workouts.

Orange juice, a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter, a piece of fruit and coffee. I'd leave out the OJ to lower sugar, but it's super refreshing and it washes down my vitamins, :)

My two great loves in life are my daughter and coffee. And the race for #1 is close...
-
After 10 miles yesterday, I finished my "walk 100 miles" goal at 178.5. :) I guess the march goal will be 200.

$12.95 for the Leslie Sansone video collection and a resistance band. I do want to join a gym in the spring to start lifting again, so that will be $40/month
