I have about 33 more pounds to lose also. Feel free to add me. It is really great to have supporters.

Thanks. My husband loves chicken parmesan. I'll have to try it.

Just thought of a few more things from my young and poor days. You can usually find a small rotissie chicken (already cooked) at most grocery stores for about $5.00. Remove the skin and shred the meat. That should get you through a main meal for at least a few days. You could put it on a sandwich, quesadilla, salad, pizza,…

I have been surprised at the variety of healthy options in the discount grocery stores. In my area, they are stores such as Marc's, Aldi, Save-A-Lot. Cheap prices on produce and many whole grain options like cereal, bread, and grains.

Thanks for posting this topic because I am having this problem too. Based on a Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) assessment that I had done by a medical professional, I should be eating between 1000-1200 calories a day for weight loss and I pretty much stick to that range every day. I exercise 20 minutes a day and I usually…

Congratulations! You look great and are an inspiration to me. If you don't mind my asking, what was your diet and exercise routine?

I'm in that club. I had a baby in December of last year and until recently have not been focused on losing the massive amount of weight that I gained during pregnancy. That's all changed now. I am on track changing my behaviors to healthy ones, however the weight is coming off very slowly. It's great to meet others who are…

Sounds good. Thanks!

I'm no expert but I do believe that what you eat isn't going to have major affects your baby this early. Just maintain a healthy diet until you find out for sure and then switch to "pregnancy" diet. And by that I mean, don't try to lose any more weight and increase your calories by the amount recommended by your doctor.…

I am a mom to a 9 month old and a 4 year old and I also work 45+ hours a week at a demanding job so I can totally relate. Recently I have really started to focus on my health. I exercise at night after the kids go to bed for 20-30 minutes using workout DVDs. There are also some good short, yet intense, workouts on Exercise…

I'm 5'0" and can really relate to the posts on this thread. A little bit of gain is really noticeable. I am struggling to lose my pregnancy weight and could use all the support I can get. Would love to be part of the group and the challenge!
