Finished L2 D6 today after taking a day off yesterday. My back is still killing me but I didn't want to let it make me miss another workout. I am getting stronger and can push through more of the circuits than I could when I started. I can definitely tell a difference in my endurance. And lost 2.3 pounds since last Monday…

I can relate. I brought home Wendy's for my husband last night but didn't get anything for myself. He looked at me like I was crazy. By the way, I was STARVING, and had to drive for 2 miles alone in the car with those french fries. Not even a nibble! I kept chanting, do not eat the french fry. Almost home. Made it. Ha!

Hahaha, my 4-year-old knows all about calories-in, calories-out now. He picks up one of my hand weights and says, Momma, I'm burning calories. And he asks, Momma, where do the calories go? LOL. Good question. I had to google it. when... ...you pass up birthday cake at work--this happened today :) ...you throw your child's…

This wasn't directed at me, but I'll jump in anyway since my monitor says I burn only 117-120. I am 5', 143 lbs. I also know that I have slower than average metabolism (I was tested for this at a health clinic). MFP says I burn 217, so it's 100 calories off.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who registers low on the calorie burn. I have a Bodymedia armband and it reports that I only burn 117-120 calories for both L1 and L2. Much less than MFP's "Circuit Training - General" gives me. I think the calories burned varies widely by person.

I also like the chest flies. They seem easy compared to everything else and that makes me feel strong. I like the ab exercises too except for the plank twists. Sweat is dripping off of me by the end of the plank twists. Gross, I know. My worst.... Chair squats with V-raises on L2. It's the V-raises that get me and they go…

Just finished L2 D2 after taking a rest yesterday (I have no excuse). I'm on day 9 total. Proud of myself for getting back to it today. It's so easy for me to completely fall off the wagon after missing a day. But I forced myself to do it tonight and I'm so glad I did.

I just found this group. Hope you don't mind my joining in. I just moved to Level 2 Day 1 after doing a week of Level 1. This is my second round of 30 DS. I went through it once last year. I'm trying to re-condition myself and prepare for Ripped in 30 because I already bought it and I've heard it's harder. Level 2 wasn't…

I've done this but with Splenda brown sugar blend and a little spray butter. It adds some calories but so good.

Oh wow. I totally just noticed that the two posts previous to mine made some of the same suggestions. Great minds....

100 calorie cocoa roasted almond packs 100 calorie microwave popcorn I usually have a chocolately protein bar in the evening after I work out. It's like my dessert treat for the night. And I don't feel bad because I just worked off the calories for it.

I did try this with chicken tenders and it worked nicely. My kids loved them.
-
Thanks for pointing this out. I'll have to try it.

I'm a mommy to a 4 year old and a 1 year old and I work full-time also. It is really tough to find the time and energy to lose weight and live healthy but I am determined to do it! All mommy's here, feel free to add me as a friend :flowerforyou:

Wow. Truly amazing. You're an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Hey we have some things in common. I am also 5' and my goal is 120. That's what I weighed when I got pregnant with my first baby.
-
Great job sticking with it! I can definitely tell a difference.
-
Nice! Thanks for the tip. I have the opposite problem. I can't get mine off! Maybe one day ....

I think some people do additional cardio. I have been doing only 30DS and have 2 more days to go!!! I've seen moderate but not dramatic results. Although my endurance and strength have improved tremendously.

You look wonderful! Nice work! I wish I had a ball to go to

Sounds really good! Thanks!

Hang in there. Just think, think, think. There must be something you can grab to curb your cravings without going overboard. How about a glass of milk? Or hot tea? A piece of toast? A quick scrambled egg?

Thanks for the tip. I've seen them in the store but haven't tried them yet. I also do the fork trick in restaurants. I use very little dressing that way and it's all I need really. I don't like my salad to be drenched anyway.

This was fun! Thanks for posting. Although I would be VERY happy at the suggested weight, I don't want to set unrealistic goals so I'll keep my current goal weight for now (which is about 8 pounds greater).

I have a chocolate weakness and a four-year-old who couldn't finish all of his Halloween candy if he tried all year! I will definitely be controlling myself more this year than in the past. I might indulge in one or two of the minis but I really have to set limits for myself. I will be logging every chocolatey calorie.

I have also had 2 c-sections. I gained a lot of weight with both pregnancies and it definitely shows in my lower abdomen. I am doing 30 Day Shred and have lost inches in all areas EXCEPT for my gut! I am afraid of "Insanity" but after I lose the weight, if I still have th gut I may have to give it a try. Also, my scar is…

Wow, amazing! And you look sooo young!

Wow! Great results!

Great job! I am just about through Level 2 of 30DS. I really hope I get results like yours!
