I also have a HRM, so I don't use the pedometer a ton anymore, but I have an Omron (this model: http://www.amazon.com/Omron-HJ-112-Digital-Pocket-Pedometer/dp/B0000U1OCI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top) and I loved it. The price was good, it was reliable, and pretty easy to set up. I also liked that it could pick up steps while…

I have had mine for a little over a month now and am in love with it. I had it out of the box and in operation in minutes - so ridiculously easy to set up. I thought the chest strap would be annoying but I don't even notice it's there. I researched quite a lot of reviews before settling on the Polar FT4 and am soooo happy…

What a transformation - you look great!

This sounds delicious - can't wait to try it!

I (like you!) am on the second week of Stage 1 and am loving it so far. I kickbox three times a week (started it several months ago and fell in love, not willing to give it up) and lift twice a week. I know I might run into trouble in stage 2 when I hit the interval training because you're not supposed to do interval…

I can't stop giggling at this reply. These are the words of a brilliant man.

^^^THIS. Seriously, don't go there. Whatever your reasons are for wanting to know, it is really none of your business. And there is no way to approach that subtly and without looking like an *kitten*.

Haha, I was fully expecting a spam post, too. Was pleasantly surprised. Funny post, Arilysal! :drinker:

Nice! I wouldn't call that tiny - you're getting stronger, which is awesome and definitely something to be proud of. Good work! :drinker:

Those are great NSVs! It's so exciting to see changes like that - good work! :flowerforyou:

That is AWESOME. I can only imagine how proud you feel right now, and you should! What a success story. Cheers to you! :drinker:

I have a bunch of fresh green beans - I am going to try this! Thanks for sharing :)

sounds delicious - thanks for sharing!

Loved this. :) Well done, "new Scott!" Way to turn that annoyance into a positive - unexpected exercise. And sorry about your wife's bug bites but, as you said, sometimes the universe just seems to know exactly what we need.

Ugh .... in the 6 pages I read of the comments I found a very small number of people who realized the OP was kidding. Tongue-in-cheek. I realize that tone can be hard to pick up over the internet but hell, people, come on already.

There is no zero calorie beer (unfortunately!). About the lowest I've found is 64 calories (Beck's light - which is really decent for a light, low-calorie beer). Vodka is a good option at about 70 calories per ounce. If you mix it with soda water or some other zero calorie beverage you're not doing too bad. I kind of dig…

WOW! I hadn't heard of 6W6P, but if those are the kinds of results you get, I'll have to look into it! What a noticeable transformation - well done!

A quick peek at your diary shows that you've only been tracking for a couple of days, so it's impossible to know what your calorie intake has been. But since your weight hasn't gone up and the difference is just in how your clothes fit, the first things that come to mind are fluid retention (due to T.O.M. or muscle…

^^ This! You can definitely see a difference. :) Well done!

You look AMAZING! I am just starting Stage 1 of NROLFW tonight, so this was timely. I can't wait to ruin my body the way you did yours. By the way, that is the cutest bathing suit in your "ruined" picture! :flowerforyou:

150 done! Half with straight leg and half with bent knees.

Most people will tell you to weigh once a week but I actually weigh every day, mostly out of habit and general curiosity. My weight can fluctuate within several pounds from day to day, so I don't put much emphasis on it. Whenever I hit a new low, I log it and move on. I weigh after using the bathroom right after I wake up…

I found In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan to be incredibly informative and a great read. I'm reading The New Rules of Lifting for Women now and there's some great info in there - can't wait to get started on the first phase tomorrow. Vegetarian to vegetarian, Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer was thought-provoking,…

WOW! You made an absolutely amazing transformation. You look stunning and should be SO proud of yourself. Congrats! As for maintenance ... you can do it!

I'm in!

Nice! Those are some good ones. :) NSVs are almost more fun than the weigh-in, I think - so cool to see the way your body is changing. I spent my whole kickboxing class tonight hiking up my pants that previously barely fit properly - it was annoying, but exciting at the same time. Good work! :drinker:

150 done!

200 done with 5 pound weights. :)
