Moving Comfort sports bras are actually the entire reason I could start running. They come in actual cup sizes, and have varying levels of support, depending on your needs.

THIS! A thousand times this!

Ha! Exactly what I was thinking. I adore my breakfast. BUT, more power to you, breakfastless people! I can't relate, but I will support your right to go without morning food with my dying breath.

@buttersbunch AMAZING! That is incredible, and I love that you made mini-milestones for yourself along the way. Sometimes when the number to lose is more than we can conceptualize, it makes it harder to begin. Baby steps, even though small, still move us forward. So happy for you!

Hell yeah! Good crying is the best :-)

Good for you!! I've read some of the "beginner's guides to running" on posts throughout MFP and they all say the same thing (which I agree with): set a realistic goal (like a 5k) and work towards it. That's what I did, and what I continue to do. Sounds like you're on the right track, keep it up!

THANK YOU everyone for sharing your stories! @lisapierce5277 , I currently weigh 263 and I'm running. It's slow (like really slow), steady, and I monitor for any aches and pains to make sure I'm not damaging my body. I wouldn't let a number stand in your way, IF that's what's stopping you. If you have other medical…

Outstanding!! That is an amazing accomplishment! I hadn't heard about the Great Glen Way, and now that I've seen it, I think I have a new life goal! What a gorgeous trail, and I am so happy you chose the high road!

"Your body is a big fat liar." SO true. Also, #7 is what made the switch in my brain finally go on when I started running. I would reach a point in my run that I would think, "okay it's time to stop now." And I would stop. But why? No real reason, other than my brain telling me to. I realized one day that if I do mental a…

Man, this absolutely hit a chord with me! I LOVE my wine! And especially during the holidays, it was easily at least 1-2 glasses 4-5 times a week. I would be happy to connect and talk about what works and what doesn't! I've found that the best way for me to put down the wine glass during the week is to exercise after work.…

Hey everyone, I'm 38, was diagnosed at 18, so I've been addressing PCOS issues (meds, weight loss, fitness, nutrition) for 20 years. (Wow, that sounds unbelievable to me, but I guess it's true!) I tend to cycle up and down, and now I'm back on track (regular exercise and eating well). Would love to be part of a supportive…

Happy to send encouragement, motivation, kitten posters, limericks, whatever works. Also, I'm entering the "holy crap this is happening" phase of training for a half ... so, yeah, could definitely use some fresh blood/support too!

My boyfriend and I are both changing our lifestyles (going to the gym, setting goals, eating healthier) and so we share our milestones with each other. My friends have a general understanding of my goals (as I told them I am training for a half marathon) but other than that I don't go into specifics. My sister is also…
