I'm the PA!!! =] I just sit in classes all day it sucks, at least in undergrad I didn't spend 12 hours a day with my butt in a chair.

You're right, I should have put that differently, they make your kidneys excrete more water than they would if all you had in your system was water alone.

I have found that a small difference in body fat (2-3%) makes a biiiiiiiiig difference. I was at 17%, slacked off and am now at 19% and boy does it show, not to mention that now I am working twice as hard to get to where I was before. there is no question that caffeine inhibits the release of antidiuretic hormone. this makes you pee more, so while not necessarily dehydrating if someone tells you that caffeine doesn't make you pee they're feeeding you a big load of pooh

Oh god you just described me exactly, bored eater and big sweet tooth and love snacks. I just force myself to plan my meals (meaning all my calories) (including snacks) ahead of time. If snacks stop being discretionary calories, they're better spent just like with money :)

I need help with this too, going to my last college football game as a student :/ And in repsonse to the wings, I've tried all the highest rated baked wings recipes out there and unfortunately none of them compare to the fried and they are not even that much healthier to make it worth the downgrade.... I have the same problem. I do not drink soda or juice and do not add table sugar to my coffee or tea. Basically I only drink water or unsweetened tea/coffee (obviously I don;t eat cookies or candy). I go over my sugar with just the piece of fruit I have with breakfast and maybe a greek yogurt I have after a morning…

I want to lose 15 pounds by losing 2 pounds a week, I exercise 5 days a week(a blend of cardio and weight training) I know that if I didn;t work out I might be able to survive on 1200, but with 90 minute workouts it seems like starvation (granted I haven't tried it yet I just joined the site).
