  • You will not loose weight every week.Weight seems to sort of 'swoosh' off on its own time. Keep consistent with your diet and exercise. Once your further in the game, you may need to change your goals to fit your new weight/activity level, but you have some time. Keep it up!
  • Im with kmarc- you can replace oil and eggs with just soda... I think only diet soda though?? It works best with premix - like a cake/cupcake mix. Google it- you will save calories and enjoy moist and delicious cake/cupcakes without knowing the difference
  • I never used to count oils/fats I used for cooking. Was just trying to cature the big picture and know, there would be some +/- along the way. I guess it depends how accurate you are with all your other logging. Are you weighing/measuring portions? Are you focusing on calories or marcos or both?? I would suggest figuring…
  • My man makes wicked coconut rice =))
  • Eat Clean - avoid processed junk Drink lots of water... lots. Exercise hard Most importantly- ensure you are not doing something that promises a quick loss, like pills or starving yourself. You should be competitive, but remain healthy. In the end- the point of a weight loss challange to to encourage healthy lifestyles,…
  • I am going to guess your body is sweating during 30DS and your craving for salty food is to replenish the salt you have sweat out. A good alternative to junk food would be edamame beans with a sprinkle of salt (in place of chips)
  • Natural peanut butter quinoa steamed veges with a little bit of ranch and franks hot sauce drizzled on top
  • Beans, Nuts, Quinoa, Peanut butter << great protien sources
  • McDonalds I would also say milk but I never really drank it... sometimes chocolate or banana milk
  • bump- thanks for all the tips and links
  • I can see it being unhealthy if you load it with bacon, sausage and cheese. Otherwise, if your filling it with veges, maybe using a few egg whites and little or no cheese, your golden. My favorite; 1/2 cup egg whites 1-2 cups chopped spinach 1/2 white onion 1/2 yellow pepper
  • I log them, although sometimes not accurately (i am not getting out a measuring cup to measure my lettuce). The small difference in low calorie veges doesnt make or break me. Fruit though.. more sugar/carbs/calories. I'd recommend being more strict there.
  • I've lost nothing =( In fact, I gained but I am slowly getting slimmer.
  • Excellent opportunity to practise self control. My best method- out of site, out of mind. I put my cookies in the cabniet I dont go in, however, if I REALLY want one, I wait, have some water then see if I still 'NEED' one.
  • I struggle with it. I would like to not log and just focus on healthy eating, but I am addicted!! I will stop logging soon....
  • berry smoothie 1cup water 1/2 cup almond milk 1/2 cup frozen berries 1tbsp hemp hearts 1 scoop whey isolate 1/2 cup ice 1 banana 376cals
  • Wow. Firstly, Congratulations on loving you for you. That is amazing and that solely will pull you through your hardships. Secondly; I think he is rude. There is nothing wrong with pointing out a flaw, but not in a hurtful way. If he would like to see you more active, he should suggest you both go for a walk. Think about…
  • most days its between 3:45-5:45. i dont snack after as im not usually hungry. i eat almost all my calories early in the day.
  • dark chocolate. so many health benefits if you eat it in moderation. the darker, the better for you. suck on it too.. way more satisfying
  • Love it. Drink 1-2 cups a day When homemade I add 1 splenda and skim milk. From TIM HORTONS I have 2 milk 1 splenda. And.. on weekends or vacation, I drink as much as possible... guilty pleasure.
  • Eggs Smoothie Pita Pizza w reduced fat cheese Quinoa salad Homemade burgers Basically, anything healthy that seems appetizing. Best hangover cure though, drink WATER! Especially between alcohol drinks, before bed and anytime you get up during the night. Hangovers are due to dehydration essentially
  • I put sedentary and log all exercise, that way I don't eat excess (hypothetically... Christmas was a bad example!) If you put light, you wont count the cals burnt doing all your activity, or.. you would only log above your usual walking/exercise.
  • I just saw my Doc today for a physical and mentioned I am constantly, and painfully getting bloated each day. He is testing for celiac and lactose intolerance/allergys. I think there is a difference between 'bloating' and having excess fat which can be reduced via exercise. For those who are bloated, it is more of an…
  • Im terrible with routines, so perhaps I am not the best person to answer... I found lifting 5lb dumbells for 3 sets of 12 pretty ineffective. Once I starting lifting HEAVY (for me) weights for 3 sets of 5 or 6 reps (or as much as possible before losing good form) I started to see results and my workouts became much…
  • Correction: muscle does not weigh more then fat unless your comparing 2lbs muscle to 1lb fat.... 1lb of feathers is the same as 1lb of bricks... bricks are just more dense thus taking up less space. Consider your muscles as bricks and your fat as feathers... Also, weight loss is not static. Your hard work WILL pay off,…
  • I used to be the same. When I stopped constantly eating, I got terrible pain in my stomach so I started muching on vegetables, like celery. Eventually, the habit was broken because water vegetables get boring pretty quick. Good luck, and awesome job with the water intake!
  • Make extra lean ground beef buger patties with tex mex seasoning ! Jalepenos and onion. Once cooled break up and add to iceberg lettuce with shredded cheese and and use salsa as dressing Bam
  • Ps I changed my profile pic to my 'progress' (tan progress?!) so you all can see my thickness lol.
  • Thanks for all the response! It's very interesting to see what some women consider as an insult, others feel is a compliment. In my opinion, in the end... NOTHING my man calls me will define me. I am working hard to feel and look MY best. Keep up the good work ladies and gents and best of luck on your journey!
  • I love make-ahead meals..especially because they can be so quick and nutritious (i use them for lunches) My man and I just whipped up some burger patties, turkey and lean beef which were seasoned, cooked and individually wrapped. I will use them througout the weeks with a salad or steemed veges. The beef ones have tex-mex…
