Weight loss is a side effect. Continue to get proper nutirtion and vitmains and you should be fine. Also, althogh you may not feel hungry- try to eat at least your BMR. I wish I lost 8lbs when I started it!! I only felt strung out for a week, which was actually pretty scarry!

I have the luxury of using the washroom whenever I like. So.. I drink a ton of water, use the washroom once an hour or so and pop out as many squats as I can until my legs burn. Sitting on the edge of your chair is great for posture.. but, even better would be an exercise ball! For calves, plant feet flat on the floor and…

I am in Calgary and I bought some at a heath food store called Amaranth. I would recommend checking out Community Natural foods, Bulk Barn, Superstore (health food section) or any other health food store. There is one in the shopping complex in South Common but I am not sure what it is called. Good luck =)

Coming from an HR Manager (ME!)- Interviews can be really scarry, nerve racking and feared. People get nervous when they have to talk about themselves. It is easier to tell a story about your personal life, then it is to touch on your career highlights. I interview an average of 4 people per week. Sometimes, it gets as…

Cant help you on the taste, but, I am a total greek yogurt addict. If your interested in cutting sugar levels down (the fruit flavored yogurts can be pretty high), why dont you try: Plain Greek Yogurt (I use 0%) Add cinnamon and/or berries and/ or shredded coconut and/or vanilla extract and/or splenda I dont seem to have…

I dont know how many times I have seen this. Last time I checked, a pound of feathers weighed the exact same as a 1 pound brick. The density is different. A pound of fat takes up much more space then a pound of muscle.

I am in the same boat. There is nothing more disheartening then having a bloated belly, tight jeans, increased weight and pressure/pain. My doc started to ween me off of a drug (for another purpose) and it helped with the IBS a bit, plus, I began taking a fiber suppliment. Now I am off all meds and take fiber everyday (or…

Roasted Cauliflower- so good you wont need calorie laden cheese! Break up cauliflower into florets, drizzle with EVOO in a large bowl, add some minced garlic roast in oven for 35-45 minutes at 375, until tender. Rachel Ray did something similar, but put hot sauce on after to make 'meatless wings'. Also very good!

If this girl is anything like me, she would say something along the lines of "I didnt ask for your opinion". Some people believe they are doing the BEST thing for them, and, if its working (-20lbs), they may be ignorant to others opinions. IF you were to say anything, I would just suggest MFP... she can track her…

Natural Peanut Butter FTW. Then cashew butter, then almond butter .... If you have a VitaMix.. .you can make your own by putting RAW nuts in and blending until smooth. After switching to Natural PB- I could not eat the sugary/salty overprocessed store brand stuff like Kraft or Skippy. Yuck! PS- If you have natural PB you…
