You didn't eat any lunch? If you're having trouble getting enough calories, just add some rice or noodles. They're both over 200 calories for 1 cup cooked.

A bag of beef jerky has like 24g of protein and 240 calories.. very good on the go. Greek yogurt has around 16g for a 6oz tub, good bang for your buck. Personally I usually hit my goal with lots of chicken and use protein shakes to make up the deficit.

I went on vacation and went crazy on the first day and got it out of my system. After that I made more reasonable, portioned choices and it worked out well for the rest of the vacation.

I take a scoop of Gold Standard vanilla protein and 8 oz of orange juice with some ice in the blender. Tastes like an orange cream cooler.

Here's a trick I use when I get hungry. I get a full glass of water and drink it as fast as I can. Then I eat a string cheese as slowly as I can. By the end of the string cheese I don't feel hungry anymore.

I went smaller this year and just planted green beans, broccoli, tomatoes, corn and green/orange peppers. I'm also trying a hill of cantaloupe which I've never done before. Gardening is a great way to relieve stress!

I like making homemade breakfast sandwiches on workout days. English muffin, sausage patty, and egg. Yummmm. Usually it's just orange juice and chia seeds.

Beef jerky is my go-to for quick protein. I make mine at home in a dehydrator so it's way cheaper than the packaged stuff.
