If I'm awake, I'm probably eating.

Definitely both! Front are a good accessory on my deads day. I go cross arm hold and don't have any trouble holding the bar up - it sort of balances on my clavicle. And yes, at a lighter weight than back squats, not many people could hold the same weight on their front as on their shoulders!

My profile photo - that's why I lift. Not to mention it's awesome and makes me feel amazing! :D

There's no need to keep bumping - the answer has already been provided.

My pug dog is overweight and he will eat any time, anywhere, however much anyone is willing to give him. Should I tell him to just listen to his body and keep eating? It's natural after all.

Once lifting becomes a big part of your exercising you'll have a lot more success with the TDEE method over the MFP+exercise calories way - simply because it's difficult to pinpoint just how many calories are burned from lifting. I definitely recommend going to scobby's workshop and calculating your TDEE and go with a…

If you haven't watched House of Cards your life is not complete. Just finished season two. O. M. G. :noway:

If you want to split them up in a way that makes more sense you can change your upper body days to "push" and "pull" days - "push" will be chest/shoulders/tris and "pull" is back and bis.

Give it at least two weeks, somewhere between 2-4 weeks. See how your clothes are feeling and how you're feeling as well. Don't pick that day where you feel chubby and gross and then hop on the scale, wait a few weeks or so and then when you're feeling good hop on and see how it's going! I highly recommend adding lifting…

I'm 5'4", 138-140lb (depends on the day lol) and 29. I eat - at a minimum - 2050 cals a day. I lift 3-4 times a week and do cardio 3-4 times a week, have a desk job but try to move around and do things to be active when I'm not stuck in a chair. I could 100% eat tons more all the time, and sometimes do to support my…

I would definitely go to a running store and get an analysis done if you can to find the best fit of shoe for you. I personally love my Brooks Glycerin but I know plenty of people who like Asics, Saucony, etc etc better. Running shoes are very personal to your feet. :)

29, 34C, hell no! That would be so uncomfortable.
-
I go to the gym 5-6 days a week, lifting and light cardio - I keep up with my cals mainly to keep up with my macros. Depends on what your goals are if you need to or not. Pretty sure your blanket statement is false. Also, they may just not be interested in discussing their eating habits with a perfect stranger. Or maybe…

I haven't had it in years, but I LOVE Pizza Hut's pan pizza crust ... mmmmm, But generally I like it somewhere in between, I want something to chew on but I don't want a huge thick piece of bread.

http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/179005 Apparently this is thing for real. I want about 100.

Holy crap that looks delicious.

Eating isn't just about hunger, it's about fueling your body. Waiting until you get the shakes is a really really bad thing. Make a meal plan, have just a piece of toast w/some peanut butter and half a banana or something like that in the morning to get you going but not overwhelm your stomach if you're not hungry in the…

Love the photo holding all the weight you lost! Congrats on a job well done so far!

Judging from your diary you don't get that much protein in - generally under 100 grams. I generally eat about 175g or so a day. Eat some more protein if that's what you're craving! Protein shakes are just protein. They don't make men build muscle and they won't do that for you either.
-
I'm 138lb and eat 175 or so grams of protein a day, 2050 cal diet. Feel free to nab ideas from my diary! General rule is .8-1g per lb of lean body mass, however many will up their protein macro to limit their carb intake and balance their diet more. (Like me).
-
Yep you just have to do it! I'm up at 4:30 M-F so I can hit the gym before work. I find it vital to my existence.

Lol I don't have diabetes. But thanks for the medical advise champ!

Quest are the best! Try toasting them! Mmmmmmm.

Eh I tend to be in the camp of protein and fat are minimums and carbs make up the rest - so if I'm 10g over on Fat and Protein for the day and 30g short on carbs I'm not upset about it. So long as you feel you have enough energy (don't need more carbies) then it's not a huge deal. Sounds like your trainer is going for a…

Take a look at my diary if you like, it's open. I generally get 175+ grams a day. Try replacing your breakfast oatmeal with greek yogurt to start with - that will get you 15-20 more grams right there! :)

Just do it! There's a lot of good youtube and bodybuilding.com videos you can use to verify your form and then just ignore everyone else and go to town! Lifting is the BEST!
