I've been eating very low carbs. I have recently begun adding carbs back to my diet. I had oatmeal with raspberries for breakfast this morning and nearly did a dance. I've had egg beater omelets for the past two months. I'm trying to ease into carbs. I still have had no bread and no potatoes, but I am adding fruit back in.

I'm with you. I used to drop pounds so quickly. Now it is soooooo hard to lose just a little bit. I have finally begun to lose, but I had to cut a lot of carbs to do it. It would be nice to have some friends experiencing the same thing. I've gone through menopause and it seems as if my metabolism is what paused.

For me, Insanity toned me up, but I didn't lose but two pounds the entire time I did it. Running helped me lose weight. So, it depends if you would rather lose weight or tone up. I am running now. When I get a certain weight, I will do the Insanity Challenge again. There's my two cents. LOL

Yes. It is necessary. This is a life time journey. Just don't get stuck off course. Be willing to accept the consequences. Enjoy it, and then get back on plan.

Don't be afraid to eat more. You are eating far too little. Your body needs more calories o sustain itself, to do what it is supposed to do to keep you healthy. Don't deprive it. That's not that bad, actually. Your weight or body shape is not so out of control that you can't get it back. You need to commit to logging in daily. If you bite it, write it! Use your pause button. You will find it easier and easier to get through. It is hard in the beginning, and you'll need more time than Shaun allows, but take your own breaks. Listen to your body.

Water is easier to drink after exercising, so I normally get two bottles in after exercising. I use the Hawaiian Punch mix ins. They are delicious! It makes water easier to drink. Also, Dr. Pepper 10 is really good. Fanta also have some really good diet sodas. Try them.
