I found a website called nourishingmeals.com that has just about every kind of diet. You select your diet and then you only see recipes for your specific need. It's a paysite, $14/mo or $120/yr after a 7-day free trial. You can compile meal plans, calendars, and shopping lists. The meal I cooked tonight was inspired by a…

At the advice of my new PCP, a functional medicine doctor, today is the first day of my IFM (Institute of Functional Medicine) elimination + nightshade-free diet to try & figure out if food is part of my chronic inflammation/joint & muscle aches, tiredness, sinus, & gut issues. No beef (lamb & game meat allowed), pork,…

It was at one bar, so charged it today, last time was Monday. I don't think the battery usually lasts that long, but I haven't been very active this past week because I was sick with fever up to 102.8; cough still sticking around, but no fever since Thursday. It took 40 minutes to go from one bar to a full charge.

Now that I have a Garmin activity tracker, the index scale is on my mind. I can't really justify it at this point though because I have Tanita Ironman scale that I got about 3 years ago. It provides, weight, % body fat, % body, muscle mass, bone mass, visceral fat, BMR, metabolic age, and physique rating. It does not have…

I don't mind having to charge it. I last did it on Monday. I do it every 3-4 days and it does not take very long at all to return to full charge. I would say less than 30 minutes, but will pay attention next time to give you an accurate time to charge.

I have tried many stevia and stevia based products. My favorite is the Kal brand pure stevia...i use the powder and the liquid forms for different things. I get mine from amazon. Kal also has some flavored liquid stevia...i love the chocolate-cardamom, the almond, and the vanilla ones!

Fage all the way! I always buy the plain (regular or 2%) so I can use it like sour cream and add to smoothies. If I want it with fruit I add a bit of stevia and Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract. I have made this vanilla stevia mix and served at parties as a dip for a fruit tray and people think it is some…

Tea is definitely one of my passions, I have close to 100 different kinds of loose leaf tea in all varieties (black, oolong, green, yellow, white, and cakes of pur-eh). I get all of mine from imperialtea.com. They come loose leaf but you'd be amazed at how long 0.25 lb will last you! You can order bags if you want and use…

I use KAL 100% pure stevia powder...haven't noticed an after taste like I did with other stevia products. I like my coffee and tea fairly sweet... it comes with a TINY scoop...and 2 scoops is plenty for about 20 oz of tea or coffee....so a little jar lasts a LOOOOONG time! Sometimes I mix it with KAL xylitol...xylitol is a…

I LOVE tea! Black, oolong, green, yellow, white, pu-erh, you name it! I get them all loose leaf...one caveat for green teas though...water that is too hot or if you steep too long will make it BITTER....best to keep the temp under 170 F and time to 3 minutes. Although quality loose leaf teas may cost more...you can get…
