  • Crap, I missed the first weigh in too! And I log in everyday! There has to be a reminder system to this group challenge. When is the next weigh-in?

  • Wow, I thought this was a gag post. Just 121 pounds at 5'1" and you are "very unhappy?" I am the same height and will be happy at 130. :noway:
  • I realized I need to make new holes in my belt soon. Earlier, I didn't even bother with a belt, my pants were "snug".
  • Jenn, Welcome back. If you have "lost" friends, you can add me. :P
  • Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I am going to try if these help, or see a Dr. I think I pushed myself too hard in circuit training and that's where I probably hurt myself. :frown:
  • This^. My friend came back after her pregnancy break and the first thing she said to me was that I had put on weight. Ironic, isn't it? I joined a gym the next day.
  • Raisins. I really hate them. If one accidentally makes it into my mouth it triggers my vomit reflex. I didn't eat them even during pregnancy and they are supposed to be so good for you. I'll pass, thanks!
  • Yes please add me! I will friend you. :)
  • Very well said!
  • Wow, thanks for the great tips, guys. Glad to know that I'm not alone! I didn't weigh myself for a couple of days and today the scale says 62.7, so I am def calling it a win. Who knew not weighing daily actually helps.
  • Good luck girls. Kudos to taking charge of your fitness so soon after giving birth. I wish I had started sooner, my lo is now 3 years old. Well, I am glad I have finally started. :)
  • Please add me. I am 32 with one child and haven't lost any pregnancy weight.
  • Daily! Keeps me on track.
  • I spotted this month around ovulation for 2-3 days. Freaked out and saw a gynaecologist and she said it was normal around ovulation. I suggest going to a Dr. soon. Why take chances?
  • Please add me in, I would like to participate as well. I guess I will have to convert kgs into lbs before posting here.
  • Hi, I am a vegetarian for life. (I eat and love eggs, though, is that cheating?) I get strange looks when I travel out of India, but most people are vegetarian here. I am a working mom of a 3 year old, my favorite color is green and I  IronMan.
  • I have a 3 year old and am ashamed to say that I still look like I have just given birth. I HAVE to go back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I was trolling these forums looking for mum-friends, so glad to find you! :flowerforyou: I have sent you a friend request.
  • It's a dance aerobics class, not yoga. Whatever works, I say.
  • My aerobics class has 40% men. I was pretty surprised seeing such a high number of men. And they are all in the front of the class! :noway:
  • kpost323 - Aww, I love the story of how you met your husband! Yes, we are all superficial and vain about looks. It's a survival mechanism, no one wants ugly kids. I tell my husband that he's lucky I am cute since my son looks a lot like me.
  • Well, there are regular trainers and personal trainers. A few people opt for personal trainers and people like me just ask for help from the regular trainers when we need it. All these trainers are pretty helpful and generally point out if I am doing anything wrong. I guess I am not a big fan of someone breathing down my…
  • I would suggest taking a picture of you or asking a loved one to take a picture of you from unflattering angles. Trust me, once you see the fat dangling around you, you would be motivated like crazy. I just had that moment when I saw my vacation pictures. I was like, "Holy hell, I AM FAT!" Also, stop hiding behind reasons…
  • Well, I weigh myself everyday. I tend to overeat unless I weigh myself in the morning and am more motivated to stay on track. If scale is going down, I will keep at it, if it went up, I keep harder at it. :P What bugs me is when the scale won't move. :( In that case, I don't weigh the next day. My idea is to weigh…
  • Oops, I am not in North America. I guess that disqualifies me.
  • Oh, Please add me! I have 12 kgs to lose that is 26 lbs. I am a 32 year old working mother of one. Excited to be part of it. Thanks, Sayali.
  • Thanks all for sharing your tips and insight. I feel much more motivated now. :)
  • Hmm, wow, thanks for all your replies, I really didn't expect too much. Thanks for the support and the tough love too. And thanks to the user who reminded me of the "good old days". Maybe if i scroll through my fat pics, I won't mind calorie counting so much. ;) To answer some questions, my goal is set to standard 1200…
  • I had the same question. I asked my trainer the other day if I needed to incorporate crunches to flatten my belly and he said my strength traning and aerobics was enough. He also said that we lose weight all over and it will gradually reflect on the belly area. HTH, Sayali.
