Theres nothing wrong with night time eating if you're within your limits and what youre eating is clean. I failed at both of these so in order to break my habit I've stopped eating after 8pm. Its a drastic solution but I'm trying to break my mental habit of overeating at night.

I wouldn't blame your hunger on upping the calories. I'd say it mostly has to do with Stronglifts. Your body needs fuel to perform so feed it, but give your body time to get used to your new routine.

Seems like you should do your own research on BMR and TDEE as well as weight loss in general. People here can give suggestions and advice but until you gain an understanding for yourself your journey will be harder than need be. I had already lost most of my weight before starting the Shred so I didn't really see any results BUT its was great cardio and strength training. I still do it from time to time if I want to get a quick burn. I will say if you still have a significant amount of weight to lose 30dayshred will definitely help!

I started at 155 and am currently at 140 (5'5'' btw) My original goal was 130-135 until I got to where I am now. A lot girls here would say that's still high but I'm pretty comfortable with it. Burning calories happens whether you're at a gym or at home. What you eat plays a big part in whether or not you will lose the weight. I've you continue to eat right and exercise the weight will come off EVENTUALLY.
