Great question!! I have been making green smoothies in the morning and just from that I'm over my sugar for the day. Ingredients are avocado, spinach, 1 cup frozen fruit and 1/2 tsp agave nectar.

Eggs, cottage cheese, lean meats, vegetables, beans, hummus are staples for me. Cottage cheese and shrimp Cooked brocolli with wedge of light laughing cow cheese hummus and pretzles Eggs + plain instant grits almost every morning (low calorie, high protein)

No I haven't. I was using "high impact aerobics" for plyo and just adding a random number in for the rest of the week. Sooo cheating!!! I ended up ordering a HRM this week so I can be more acurate. I sometimes will make egg muffins in cupcake tin. I'll have to look up the recipe but it's basically eggs/veggies and maybe hashbrowns in a cupcake tin. Bake then freeze. Reheat as needed.

1200 and I can usually stay at that but I tend to go over on my carbs, fat and not get nearly enough protein. I need some new snacks!

Were you walking before December too? If you are gaining muscle from increased exercise and loosing fat you may gain a few lbs. I worked out for 8 weeks prior to the holidays and gained 3 lbs but lost 4 inches from my waist. I hated that scale but my clothes fit better.

I made a lentil shepards pie tonight for dinner that was fabulous for the whole family. The potatoes up the carbs but you could cut back on those a bit and just have a small layer of them.

I am a Kosama fan. They have locations all around Des Moines area and starting to expand to other states. Group fitness/class is the style 6-1hr classes a week with each day being unique to that week. (plyo, upper, kickboxing, kettlebell, lower, yoga)

I workout at Kosama daily but would like to start adding some running to my week. Prefer outside (layer, layer, layer) but have the deadmill if it drops below 15 degrees.
