  • Cory- those high fevers are SCARY! I have 2 that run really high fevers and it freaks me out every time they are sick! Then stitches to boot is just terrible. Poor poor kiddo. Hang in there Mama! Lisa- Hello :) and thanks. I've lost more inches than she tracks, but I was happy. She doesn't do chest and that is where I've…
  • Kaitlyn- I'm glad that you feel back on track! YAY!! I love this group too. It so nice having other mama's to go through it with! KCampbell- Hey girl CONGRATS on the lb! That is fantastic, fabulous, freaking awesome, and I think I'm out of F words for ya, lol! Enjoy the fair, and mmmmmm I would so fall off what little of a…
  • Lisa- I don't really mind her sending the emails, I just didn't know how else to describe the frequency without using the word spam. She always adds helpful tips in her emails as well, most of the time anyhow. So that is nice! Oh and I forgot last time HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Have you heard better things about one vs the other…
  • Kaitlyn- He knows. I can't keep a secret for the life of me. I've been wanting to binge lately too. Nothing healthy sounds good. You are doing so much better than me though. I totally had a reeses peanut butter cup yesterday. I was bummed cause it wasn't near as good as I remembered it. But I have been CRAVING sweets like…
  • Kimi- I have the turbo jam set myself. I haven't done it much lately because I found out our zoo has a workout 4 times a week, so I've been doing that instead. I did the quick slim that came with my set and lost 10 lbs in 10 days. So it does work :) Lisa- That is awesome that so many people from church are working out with…
  • C- The funny thing is I actually chat that to myself almost daily, at one point or another. When they are being terrible sometimes I need to remind myself. My patience is getting thin, but I'm almost through month 5 of this deployment. Congrats on your weight loss, that is one heck of a week!! How exciting! I hope it's…
  • Morning everyone! I'm so behind on here. I apologize! Things have been busy here. The kids keep me hopping on the weekends and I managed to make myself even busier. I painted my bedroom last night. It's been a LONG time coming. We bought the house a year ago and did the kids rooms first, and then the den was pretty bad, so…
  • Hello Newbies, kinda funny saying that since I'm pretty new too :) Sorry I've been missing for a few days life happened! Things have been pretty hectic, and then yesterday my sweet great grandmother passed away. She was 96 and lead a long and happy life, so while I'm sad for me, I'm happy she'll finally be with grandpa…
  • Kazren- Hey girl! Welcome to the group:) Kaitlyn- Awe girl, I'm sorry! I really hope that everything figures itself out quickly for you. C- Happy Birthday to your twins! My oldest turned 10 over the weekend. The whole double digits thing was hard on me. It probably didn't help that she now needs bras.... Lisa- I wish I had…
  • Kaitlyn- Sometimes I wish I worked, just to escape it all for a little bit. But then again, my husband joined the military so I could be a stay at home mom, so he might just strangle me. For me I think it's a "the grass is always greener on the other side" kind of thing, if I'm doing one I wish for the other, lol! Once my…
  • Kaitlyn- I'm glad you posted this. On the website I was looking at the suggested women of average fitness start with 15lbs. I may have been dying!! That's almost double what you are saying! I'm almost tempted to just buy a set. I'm sure my hubby would be thrilled and it starts out pretty small too :) Lisa- I drank LOTS of…
  • Lisa- Thanks for the suggestion :) British- What is a good starting size kettlebell for a woman? I wanted to order one before Matt got home and see if I can figure out what it is all about so I don't look like a complete idiot, athough Matt may find it enduring, lol! edited to add I was WAY WAY WAY low on my water today…
  • Lisa- I think I would really like Yoga. Any good starter DVD's you would suggest? I figure I could always learn them then put it in my computer and do it outside. We have a really nice covered patio, maybe I could talk the hubby into a flat screen for out there :) Mzerica- I think working your way up is a great idea. I…
  • Las Cruces is about an hour from here. I have the whole turbo jam series. It wasn't the workouts I got sick of it was the being in the house, lol. I'm an outdoorsy kind of gal :) Once my hubby is home I'm hoping to workout with him. He's currently on a kettle bell kick, so maybe I'll have to order one for myself.
  • Lisa- I liked Turbo Jam, it got my heart pumping and some of it is almost like dancing. If I really concentrated on doing the moves properly I could feel it, but it was really easy to just do it, and not do it right. I did get bored with it quickly though because I kind of got the caged tiger feeling working out at home…
  • Awe ya'll are to sweet! I started out with the Turbo Jam program and diet. I was ok for awhile but then the limited diet choices got to me so I found MFP. I love food and sweets WAY to much so at least now I can kind of eat them in moderation and know where I am. So it's mostly been diet and exercise. I also really lucked…
  • Hello:) Do ya'll have room for one more? I'm Heather, a mom of 5. My husband is active duty Air Force, and is currently deployed to Afghanistan. He left a little over 4 months ago now. Just before he left I was gaining and not fitting in anything I owned anymore. So I decided I'd try to lose weight while he was gone so I…
