  • I'm in too. Been sick and sterioded up, and gained a bunch. Would like to lose it all before the hubs makes his way home from Afghanistan. Just started hitting it hard again last week, and GAINED. Go figure! Good luck everyone!! My weight today is 144, but I'm hoping to be down from that come February :)
  • I did the same thing my hubby's last deployment and it was SO worth it. I felt so much better about myself. It can get stressful as deployments do, but the work is so worth the reward, I promise :)
  • I hope you don't mind but here is another amazing way to support the troops. It's a group that send 2 foot LIVE Christmas trees to deployed soldiers. I've sent them personally and they are adorable. They come with lights and ornaments and make it smell like Christmas in the desert. They are WAY behind on donations this…
  • Cori- You might, I'm 138 and wearing 4's & 6's. I'm 5'5 if that helps at all :) My goal size was a 6 and I hit that in the mid 140 to high 140's. What's crazy is last time I lost I was in the 140's but wearing 8's. I wasn't working out at all though, so maybe that is why I'm shaped much differently with adding exercise.…
  • Lisa- I just got some 8's around to list on ebay. Mostly Gap. I was going to sell them cheap as I bought them all off of ebay. If you would be interested I could cut you a deal. If not no biggy, just figured I'd let you know :D Hi everyone. I forgot what I was going to say, so I'll be back later I think :D
  • I'm 5'5. 7 weeks is a long time if you aren't used to it. It used to really bother me when Matt had long upgrade trainings. The first 2 weeks are always the hardest when they are gone. It's an adjustment. But once you get in the groove of things it will seem easier and while you will miss him like crazy you just keep…
  • Good luck and welcome to the group :) You are right little changes can make a huge difference. That's how I've lost everything I've lost. Little changes! Oh and have you thought about a kettle bell instead of weights? I workout with one when my monkeys are sleeping and they are small enough you can hide it in the closet,…
  • Happy Birthday to your twins :) It sounds like quitting work will be a good thing for you. I'm sure your whole family will benefit too. It's hard sometimes being a mom. Our needs seem to always come last. Good for you sticking to working out :)
  • I really hope you get feeling better quickly. You amaze me every week with you dedication and drive.
  • Shoot I'm far enough behind that I can't see enough posts to respond. I need to burn 2760 this week. Last week I wasn't even close. Not sure how off I was. I'm also going to apologize for my 20 post that will follow trying to catch up with ya'll :p Kaitlyn- TWIN BEDS. Unless money is really tight, toddler beds are cheaper,…
  • Gotta love the thumb area. I was born and raised in Vassar. My hubs is active duty Air Force so I don't live there anymore but it will always be home :)
  • We had Mexican for lunch. It was the first time since moving to the southwest I've had Mexican. Kind of funny, right. I got the Mexi-steak, it was basically a cube steak with a mexican sauce of sorts over it. I ate to many chips while waiting on lunch though and I really should have skipped the soda, looking back. But the…
  • It'll be a miracle if I hit my calories this week. Took yesterday off from working out to celebrate my anniversary with the hubs. Ate like a slob and it was so nice :) But now I've got the cold my kids have been passing back and forth. I may try to workout with the kettlebell some tonight just cause it burns calories so…
  • Well here's my bummer for the week. My nice scale was broke, so I've been using an old school dial type. Well Matt was able to fix my digital scale, so here's my new stats weight 140.2 calories to burn 2804
  • Cori CONGRATS!! That is wonderful girl! I'm so happy for you :) Previous week 139 Calories to burn 2780 Calories burned 3006 Current Week 137 Calories to burn 2740 So we are church skippers today. I have 2 with yucky runny noses. They seem to be feeling alright though. They are acting nutters. I'm also making homemade…
  • I'm at 2256, but like I said I really low balled our hike, so maybe I'll up it to 90 mins. I'm sure we walked that long, but I didn't want to eat that many calories today ;) Plus on here some times it over estimates things. We may do some kettlebell yet tonight. But next week I'll make sure to try and hit my calories. Oh…
  • Sure I'll join the challenge, that means I need to find a calculator. I'm no math genius here :) Bristish- I feel like an idiot I've been gone long enough I forgot your name. SO Sorry. 16 months is an interesting age all 5 of mine have hit it differently, but they all changed a lot around then. Lisa- It feels nice to be…
  • Cori-funny :) Lisa- I wonder what the magic body fat number is for me. I have lost quite a bit of body fat and gain lots of muscle. I'd have to get the exact numbers from my trainer. It's weird though my stomach looks like saggy skin. There isn't much fate behind it anymore. It's just a flap of skin basically. The love…
  • Hey Ladies! Sorry I've been gone so long. Matt made it safely home from A-stan a week and a half ago. Before that I was in crazy clean mode, and had sick kids for 3 weeks straight. I WAS 2 lbs away from my goal weight of 134 when Matt came home, but right now I'm at about 139, thanks to making my boy all of his favorites…
  • Hey girls. So i've been aweful about posting or reading lately. I am so far behind. I've been kind of down lately and not really feeling like doing anything or eating well. So I'm in a funk. Today I tore apart my bedroom. Ripped out the carpet, scraped up the old padding, pulled out the carpet tacks and took up the…
  • Got my 20 push ups in yesterday. Did 20 in a consecutively without a problem. Somewhere along this journey I've managed to get fit too. Not much new here today, hoping to make it to the zoo workout this am. I haven't been in a week and a 1/2. I also FINALLY made it back into the 130's. I dropped a bunch of weight with the…
  • I think I can handle 20 push ups a day. I'm feeling almost human again. Sorry I'm so behind. Seems like one thing after another here. My son is sick now too, so I wasn't able to go to my zoo workout today which was a bummer. I think I'm going to attempt to do some Turbo Jam today. To make up for my lack of zoo workout. A…
  • Morning everyone. I am so freaking sick. SOOOOO not fun. I'm hoping to get the kids off school and have the TV babysit the little one, while I crash on the couch. Parenting at it's finest I tell you ;) I did finally hear from my husband. They were blacked out(no communication) for the last 3 days. So that made me feel a…
  • Welcome to the group Leslie and Mary :) I was so looking forward to September, but it's not been all that nice to me yet! The USAF paid us today and our check was indeed short a fortune, Matt hasn't emailed in days which is unusual, and my service engine soon light came on. The scale went down though and I'm now in the…
  • Kim- It's always nice to have workout buddies!! I hope you and all the ladies at your church meet all your weight loss goals! You don't happen to have netflix do you? You can do workouts from their instant playlist. I used it today cause I was in a pinch!! So we are broke but Papa Johns owes me a free pizza, so I guess…
  • Chas- I actually don't use my wii fit near as often as I thought I would. I wasn't all the impressed with the first disk that came with it. I'm thinking about picking up the updated version eventually :) I am going to have to force feed myself today. I haven't heard from Matt like I normally do. I'm sure all is fine, but…
  • You look AMAZING!! Good for you(and him)!! I'm currently doing the same thing. When my hubby left almost 6 months ago I was a 14, I'm wearing 4's and 6's now. I was hoping to be down 30 lbs before he came home mid-October, but it looks like they are sending him home EARLY!!! YAY!!! I hope ya'll have an amazing homecoming!!…
  • OOPPS!!! My kids got dropped off from school and I guess I didn't re-read where I left off! I like sneaking a low cal fudge pop. 60 calories and chocolatey goodness. I basically broke us going home to Michigan and de-pleated what little savings we had. It cost WAY more than I budgeted for. Once Matt is home it's much…
  • Hello to my favorite group of Mommy's on here :) I swear I didn't forget about ya'll things have just been nutters here! Those of you who can see my diet on here, ignore it for the next few weeks. It's gonna get ugly. I'm cleaning out the cupboards. The USAF shorted us $1000 this payday, so basically I'm going to be eating…
  • I'm so behind, and I swear I'll catch up, but I just got the flipping best news EVER! They may be sending Matt home a month early which means in the next few weeks! I'm so stoked! I'll catch up I swear I just had to share :) Hope ya'll are having a good day :)
