Fantastic Job!! I can see the tat in the bottom photo! You look FABULOUS!

I still like a comfort meal from when I was little. My mom would take toast and put peanut butter and some syrup on in. Then she would put warm some milk and pour it over the toast. Fairly high in calories, easy to eat because it is soft and you get some protein too. It sounds yucky but is really yummy.

I have an unreasonable fear of coffee. I don't drink it, I don't like the smell and I can't eat anything that has a coffee taste. It comes from when I was 8 and had a fresh pot of coffee break on my back. I was burned pretty bad on my back and had to spend the summer (probably only a couple of weeks) inside.

I had the same problem in the beginning, bad enough to need laxatives. I increased my water and fiber. Also, strangely, a lot of aerobic exercise helps move stuff too!

\ I agree completely. My husband and I do the Zumba cardio party dvd almost every night. 45 minutes of fun. We get lots of laughter in if my 5 year old joins in. Her booty circle is adorable!

I have the same problem. It could be the style. I have about 4 pair of jeans all in the same size. 1 is too tight to wear for more than a few minutes, 2 fit great and the 4th is almost too big. Same for my dress pants. I don't look at sizes any more. I look at how I feel and look in them. Try for some slimming pants. I…

Instead of saying you are losing weight ("losing" is bad to kids) just say you are getting healthy. Have him exercise some with you so he can see how much fun exercising is. Remember a game of tag or dancing is exercise too! Good luck on your journey!

Great job and dedication!

Amazing difference. I am trying to get my husband to do something different than Zumba. I have 30DS but he doesn't think we can do that yet. It is a struggle to get him to do more than 4 days of working out per week. I want to add 2 more days in. You are doing great!

That is cute! I have 3. My instant son is almost 18, a 9 year old son and our 5 year old surprise (girl) I also gave birth to my niece who is 3. The last 2 were c-sections. Our 5 year old was almost 10 pounds. And for those who don't realize what an instant child is... I was Blessed to be his mom on the day I married his…

This is what I think too! MFP is about lifestyle change not dieting. If you can limit yourself to 1 serving (aka 1 slice) of pizza and mix in a nice salad with it then it is good meal without depriving yourself.

You look fantastic!

I also do the tuna sometimes with hot dog relish too. One of my favorites is and Ole High Fiber Low carb tortilla with shredded cheddar cheese and turkey breast slices. I will heat it in the microwave to melt the cheese then add about a cup of raw baby spinach. about about 250 calories. Lots of fiber and protein.

I use Ole Xtreme Wellness high fiber low carb tortilla. You can find it in with the regular tortillas. It is about $3 for 8 at Kroger. It is 71 calories for 1 only 2 g of fat, 12 g of dietary fiber and 8 g of protein. They are delicious! Sometimes I put cheese and pizza sauce on it for a personal pizza. Very Yummy!

Do something just for you. Go to a department store's makeup counter and have a makeover there. Most of them will do a free one if you buy something they use on you. I always feel better after a hair cut, color and style too!

I can't believe a dr would actually say that any movement is useless. They say that just getting up during commercials and doing squats is better than just sitting. You are on the right track. Soon your 12 minute walk will be a 6 minute walk and you will feel much better too!

I am 5'6" and my best weight was about 3-4 weeks post partum with my first child. I was between 130 and 135. I have set my goal weight at 130, but am happy just losing inches even if I don't lose weight. I am currently 145 and have the horrible "mom bib" because of my last 2 pregnancies that ended with big babies and…

I exercise mostly cardio at least 4 times a week. My off days are spent cleaning house, doing yard work, doing grocery shopping, none of which is official exercise, but it burns calories just the same. I also say my work is sedentary, but I am usually standing to do my job. I also have to walk quite a bit on busy days.…

I have found that is accurate as well. I usually split the time between low and medium because I would rather under estimate on my exercise and over estimate on my food.
-
I get up, pee, shower, get ready for work (except for clothes) then I usually have to pee and sometimes number 2 by that time, then I weigh. Same stuff every Wednesday morning. I usually try to eat healthier and drink more water on Tuesdays too.
-
That is fantastic!!

I have found that they taste just as good, but my body has violent reactions to too much sugar. The plus side is that I usually lose quite a bit of weight when I over do on the sugar :)
-
If you have gone long enough without sugar you can try what I did last week. (not on purpose) I very rarely drink anything but green tea and water. In about 30 minutes I had a piece of really sugary cake and 4-5 glasses of southern sweet tea. About 30 minutes later I was well on my way to a cleanse. There was stuff exiting…

Sounds YUMMY! I love using my Ole High Fiber Low Carb tortillas to make pizza with. (or pizza wraps.)

I am exactly like that. We always have chocolate at work so what I have been doing is allowing myself to have a small piece. It keeps me from chowing down on 10 pieces once a week or so. My main need is to learn self control. You are "normal"

I have had familial high cholesterol since I was about 105 lbs. Even eating nothing but raw vegetables and pasta it was around 230. My husband always cooks with olive oil which has actually lowered my cholesterol. I think last year it was around 220. (I was 60 pounds heavier too) My grandpa was on all the pills and they…

My kids' school had a nutritionist come do cooking classes with the students with things from their edible garden and they had 2 recipes with kale. One was a 3 bean soup and the other was a salad. My husband also makes a soup using italian sausage, potatoes and cream (although that is really not healthy). Message me if you…

We do about the same as above except we don't measure. Instead of the sugar (which helps take the acid taste out of tomatoes) we add finely minced carrots from our food processor. Adds a little bit of nutrition too. Use low or no sodium tomatoes when ever possible (if you have time blanche fresh tomatoes instead of using…

Fantastic work to the both of you!!

Apparently I am tame too! I will try most things and am getting more adventurous. I won't try chitlings though. I love vinegar based things.
