Yeah start slow and build up do what you can and before you know it you'll be looking back at how far you've come. Yep alternate footwear. I know my legs are used to heels and being in flats etc does make my calves tight. Good luck, keep at it xx

If its something you think you will enjoy then stick with it! Some will do a one on one session so you can have some time focusing on technique! Or hit youtube and practice at home. The only way we get good at stuff is practice! Good luck xx

Quite agree, although I will admit to occassionaly driving DD to nursery which is a 20 min walk but only if it is chucking it down!

No staggering loss here!! Loss go 0.4lb so at 155lb hopefully this week will be less stressful and so a bigger loss :-)

I have a 3 year old and we do a lot of dancing, just stick the music chanels on and bop around for half an hour or so, extra exercise by picking her up etc!!! Also lots of games of tag, soft play is an excellent workout too, especially if your LO's are as quick as mine lol Chasing round the park, walking, lots of kids…

A belated hello everyone! Started a new job this week so although I am logging everything am not on MFP as much as I have been been! Plus side my new work has lots of stairs so hope that's doing some good. Hope you are all doing well, not loving Scottish weather at the mo :(

We usually have dinner at around 5.30 so we can all eat together. Works for us as neither me or my husband like eating late and unless I am really hungry I rarely eat after this. Makes me feel ill if I eat late so its not a diet thing just what suits me! My hungry time is usually about 3pm!!!

You are already one step int he right direction! Sounds like you have had a really tough time and I really feel for you, I lost my Dad fairly suddenly two years ago and thats when the wieght started sneaking back on. Try not to think of it as a huge task but set mini goals (even 7lbs at a time) and plan a non food reward…

Yay well done, my fist week too and I've lost 3lb. Maybe they need new batteries? My (new) scales are pretty odd and weigh different depending where they are on the floor!! So have found a spot and sticking to it. Good luck x
