Fantastic results! Thanks for sharing them. I just started the program- so would love to see myself shaping up like this!

Haha.. yes! They're just as important! I'm getting boudoir photos for my husband. :)

There is no good way to talk to him. My Mom had a "talk" with me when I was 16 about my weight. I'm still resentful about that talk. Lately- I've seen a woman in the gym with her (pre-teen) daughter, and I thought "She doesn't want a fat daughter". But- she's right there with this girl- exercising, coaching, doing it, too-…

You wrote you're wasting his time - I think that says it all.

You look so gorgeous and happy! Fantastic work. The boots are an awesome touch. :)

I use a HRM- used to burn over 10 cals/minute, but after losing some weight- I now burn about 8 cals/min. Still works for me! Love the Zumba. Once I heard it's like "line dancing on crack". heehee.

http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bf/ This will tell you what your lean body mass is and how much fat you're carrying on your frame.

Get the ring guard. I went to a JCPenney, and they applied a gold piece on the inside of the ring for $10 to help it fit... well worth the money! Once I get to maintenance I'll have it resized. Claire's has plastic ring fitters, but they were very uncomfortable to me.

Several of my friends are larger than me- but have no qualms about getting in a bikini, because they have a (rounded) but flat belly. Mine has always been lumpy and somewhat segmented. I'm currently at 26% body fat (started out at 35%). Truly I believed that at this weight, my belly would be flat... it's not! I just took…

My life has been a recurring cycle of getting depressed and losing lots of weight (without trying), getting ahold of my depression, then becoming fat when I'm happy. It's a vicious cycle that I'm working hard to break! Currently- my life is ok... I'm not depressed, but I'm not thrilled with life, either. But- I'm more…

Thanks, MFPers! I've heard of Indeed, but apparently need to look into it more. Also- I'll become more active on linkedin. I know I have a profile- but I've never actually used it.

Yes- saying that I requested education information. I'm already very well educated- I did not ask to be contacted about an associate's degree! ha

I have both Fitbit and HRM. The fitbit is fantastic for being like a pedometer- helping you track your steps, distance travelled, stairs gone up, sleep (which is the big one for me). For any cardio exercise that is more than just walking- I use my HRM. It is a more accurate representation of the jumping, dancing, twisting,…

smoking weed. :) Don't know how you get away from that one.

Scott- SO proud of you for handling this craving in such a productive manner. I think we could all learn a lesson or two from this post. (Great idea to buy the fun size- you saved a 110 cals by not buying the full size. Really, who can stop in the middle of a candybar?) But, man... you had me drooling!

^^ THIS! ^^ Helped my marriage SO much- understanding what it took to make the other person feel loved.

If it's a light, airy cologne.... maybe. If it is a musky, heavy odor that someone can smell more than 2 feet away from you- AVOID it!
-
YAY! That was me- and instead of eating an egg mcmuffin, hashbrown, and 20 oz coke (like I normally would while driving- 700 cals), I ate a banana and an apple (200 cals)... and was full until lunch. Again, sir... I say thank you for inspiring me to make this conscious decision!

Your stepson probably thinks he's respecting your space by coming when you're not home, and is probably unaware that he leaves a trail every time. If you can be patient, take pictures of the messes he leaves- gather evidence of why his visits are unappreciated. When someone sits down to have a talk with him (either your…

I highly recommend Gaiam DVDs. Ana Caban is perky & a bit annoying, but gets the job done. Suzanne Deason is a bit slower and easier to tolerate. Jillian Hessel- feels too easy.

5'11"- started out 215. When I got down to 200- several friends I hadn't seen in a while told me I was looking good, but they didn't identify it as weight loss (so neither did I). Now that I'm hovering between 175-180, people notice and talk to me about it all the time.... even strangers I occasionally run into have…

Oh no! So sorry that you're experiencing this! Some exercises you can do: 1. Punches! Gets your heart beat up. 2. calf raises (I find them helpful for stretching foot, but could hurt you) 3. planks (normal, side) 4. most upper body exercises 5. pilates (laying down) To relieve pain- I used a tennis ball under my desk and…

^^this^^ I weigh daily and plug it into a spreadsheet. It's very easy to see my trend, as every week is a little hump: weekends go up, weekdays go back down. Probably not the best method, but- this is my life. As long as the general trend goes down, I'm alright.

mmm... that looks Delish!!!

Wow- really didn't know where you were going with the therapy talk.... You appear to take everything in stride, and are a true inspiration. I look forward to watching you grow and progress on this journey!

The most important thing I've learned when dealing with depression: get up. get dressed. show up. You won't regret working out, but staying home gives you even more reason to bemoan how you can't do anything, aren't worth anything, etc... If you need to pop an anti-anxiety to go to the gym- DO IT! If you can't handle going…

You have some enviable curves, lady!!! Swimsuit looks great on you! I, also, read your other post... and at least from your pics I can't see any scars. You look gorgeous!
