Mmmm... Houston humidity in a suit. Extra credit.

I understand your frustration. In my mind, the best starting place is to actually log ALL your food (even a piece of gum!). I log throughout the day, and sometimes still forget all the little things I munch on throughout the day. The one thing that I have read repeatedly is that you "can't outtrain the kitchen". Meaning-if…

I'd go with Frederick's of Hollywood, too. They have tasteful to raunchy in a large range of sizes. Happy shopping to you!

Lol. So sorry for your healthy eater's remorse!

I agree with Jenn, dress in something comfortable, but not too revealing. Personally- I meet with my trainer 1-2 times/week. Nothing is like him being there in person, pushing me to do another rep! Congrats to you!!!

I've also been to several different classes, and I've only seen one "student" in zumba apparel. It's mainly the instructor's wearing that style- I think it's required of them...

I have this problem, too.

Yes! Pictures tell a different story than the mirror. I'm beginning to love the way I look in clothes- but naked... not so much. I'm hoping that if I continue, it will tighten up.

That's a huge deal- and a definite reason to feel victorious!

I moved to a new city a few years ago, and really struggled to make friends. Since I love animals, I got involved volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter- and have made several friends through that. I suggest volunteering with an organization that will promote something you care about- you will meet like minded people who…

This happened to me, too. I vowed to never again wear that shirt. (Unfortunately- the shirt wasn't the problem.)

If someone wants to give you a gift, accept it graciously- even if you throw it in the trash the moment they turn around.

haha. Maybe I wouldn't hate L2 so much if that did happen. At least it would make me giggle. Who doesnt love boobies???
-
I agree the V raises are awful! Perhaps they wouldn't be so bad earlier in the workout, but by that point my arms feel like they're going to die!

It doesn't! Nice legs! :)

Although I can fake it with the best of them- I've never been a very confident person. So- I wonder- will working this hard to reach a goal give me more confidence? Although I've lost weight before- it's not been in healthy ways, and I've never gotten down to my goal weight. Honestly- I have no idea how I will look and…

I realize that you live in Canada & lost it on vacation, but... there is a website: www.lostmystuff.net run by amateur metal detectors. You can make a report on it for your lost ring- and if anyone lives around the area, they will go look for your ring for free. Worth a shot!!!

Love them. That's all you can do, darling. They're old enough to be set in their ways- they are not going to change, no matter how much you want them to. All you can do is accept that and love them with all that you can for as long as you can.

I just started this video. As I've done the 30DS and had excellent results in inches lost- I'm expecting the same for this video. Even though the format is the same (basically)- I've already noticed that I burn more calories doing Ripped in 30! I"m excited to see the results. PS- I usually do another 30-45 min. of cardio…

I look back at my wedding pictures, and wonder how that wasn't my breaking point! The pictures would be so much cuter if I had been 20+ pounds lighter! The other day I was thinking that when I turned 30- I joined a gym. When I turned 31- I started going to the gym! It took me a year to truly get motivated- and I was…

I spent 30 years of my life REFUSING to dance... until I met zumba!!! I love it! So much fun. Take your water, and as someone else suggested- a towel. You will leave drenched. It can be very strenuous/ high-impact... but it doesn't have to be. If you can't jump- don't! Just keep moving. As one of my favorite instructor's…

Quit cold turkey 10 years ago. Just decided one day that I was DONE- and I was. As someone else said, when I see the price of a pack now- I pat myself on the back! You can do this, too- if you really want it! (Much like weight loss! )

Grew up in Longview, Texas. There is nothing better (to me!) than TEX-MEX!!! Live in Ohio, now, and the Mexican food is just not the same. :(

PS- I was also very emotional when I wasn't eating enough. Listen to your body- not the scale! (And listen to Jenn- she's a wise woman!)

I slowly decreased my cals based on MFP suggestion. At 1600 cals- the pounds were dropping off of me. I decreased to 1540 cals, and my weight increased, then remained higher. Once I increased my calories back to 1600- it started coming off of me again. Although I didn't believe that 60 cals could make that much of a…

Personally- I buy my "during weight loss" jeans at Old Navy. They're cheap and functional. Although they do have some of the spandex, it's not too much. Even though I do not have a butt, the "flirt" style makes my *kitten* look pretty good- and not droopy.
