Kinect is Xbox -360. However, EA SPorts Active 2 is available on Wii, PS3 and Kinect. I would highly highly highly recommend EA Sports Active 2. The PS3 and I believe wii (maybe Kinect too?) comes with a heart rate monitor. I've been running about 8ish miles a week and elliptical 5 days a week, and even still I'm still so…

I'm a big fan of elliptical for burning calories, fast treadmill does as well but I don't like the impact. I can easily do 45 minutes on the elliptical but not as easily running. If you are trying to mix it up I like to do 20 - 25 minutes of the elliptical and then do a circuit of machines. Pectoral Fly, Ab Cruncher,…

got me all excited when it said "Central IL" clearly should say Western Illinois if you are near Macomb :)

I guess it depends on your definition of what a Diet is. Are you are saying remove things you love just so you don't eat a certain type of food (Carbs)? It seems that if you have lost 30 lbs since March you are doing pretty well yourself. I'm down about 20lbs in the last 3 months just by eating less and excercising more. I…

(Can you tell i love EA Active?) On the PS3, I'm not sure about the others but i would assume it is the same. You can actually buy 2 sets of the sensors and two people can workout together, and it tracks time, calories, workouts completed for both of you. My wife and I do this and it is pretty fun. We can both knock out a…

I love eggs too but they take so long to make. look at egg substitute, since it is ready to just pour in the pan and cook. It is also lower in calories, and really does taste the same.

EA active 2 is awesome. I prefer it for PS3, but that's just me, they have it for all 3 systems. Wii fit is ok, but I don't feel even remotly the same as EA Active. Just dance really only works your arms and not that well, but it is also probably the most fun. also, EA comes with heart rate monitors, and you can build your…

It is kinda silly, but I've noticed that I can eat more for breakfast and be hungry by 10:00, and other days I can eat somewhat little and not be hungry until 11 or noon so I did some research. Cinnamon (And there are other foods as well) makes you feel more full for longer. So I still eat the same whole wheat english…

their website actually has a very very impressive calorie calculator. you have no chance of staying under 300 though, but the Pick 2 options are better, get the Pick 2 and eat half of it? i guess? but i'd go with eat more, enjoy yourself and hit the gym for 30 minutes afterwards lol.

Fish is great, but you said you already eat that. When you get Chicken, make sure to get really thing chicken, the thicker it is the harder it is to cook and make sure it is done all the way through. And as noted before, you should never really go below 90% lean ground beef, I really try to go for 93%, but it is expensive…

endomondo is amazing, especially if you do outdoor activity. It takes your GPS and tracks your speed, elevation changes, movement etc. I used it for a 5 mile hike a few months ago and it gave a detailed GPS map of the entire trail that we followed. It was really neat to be able to look at all of the data from a map point…

140 is still well in the normal range for cardio at 26 years old. My guess is that he wanted lower heart rate (Slower) so that you could go longer without getting tired.

I started out at 10 minutes and was tired and sore for a few days, and am now up to an hour. One thing to note is the resistance (set it as low as possible to start) and keep the RPMs low when you start or you'll burn out fast. What I notice is that once I start going and watching TV or reading I speed up more and more, so…
