I got closer to 80 oz today on the water, AND for once, I ate before 8pm! Woot!

None yet for me, but have split pea soup and salad planned for lunch, and a dinner of salmon and black bean tostadas with cabbage slaw planned. I might cut up a honeydew melon for some snacking too...

Got my 64oz water in today. Gonna make a real effort to get to the 100 oz every day this coming week... I have been slacking in that regard.

Epic fail the first day of the challenge... probably got 3 servings in (if french fries count as a vegetable!) lol Monday is another day...

I also use my HRM and put it in as Cardio exercise. Depending on the day, I have registered any where from 500-650 kcal for the full 60 min, but I'm quite overweight.

I got 64 oz in on Friday... not doing as well against my personal goal of 100 lately.... will have to step it up!

I know I drank about 64 oz, but I also worked out, so I didn't get enough water yesterday - did have 2 large diet sodas, which is even worse (and I got the shakes from all that caffeine!) But, it was a busy day at work, which makes things more tricky anyway. Today is a new day!

I did pretty well Monday with the water - didn't even get my usual diet soda in. Had at least 80 oz, and then lost track. I gotta get out of this plateau I'm currently in!

I wish I didn't eat when I was stressed - it has the opposite effect on me. Great job with the water and the avoiding the late night snack!

I didnt do that great with water this weekend. I think for Sunday I barely eked out 60 oz, and that might be a stretch. I tend to drink too much diet soda on the weekends, which eats into my water. Back to regular routines now that it is Monday again. Good job everyone else - I'm impressed with you all! :drinker:

Not as successful with the water today - probably got about 56 oz, but drank like 3 24 oz fountain diet cokes. Oh well... Sunday's another day

I got through 96 oz of water yesterday - this is really helping me drink it up, accountability helps motivate me, so thanks Chika! Although I'm not able to do the not eating after 8pm, I am proud to say that I have eaten dinner before 9pm for 3 days in a row, which is good for me. Make it a great day everyone!

The scale is a dangerous thing - I agree with others, use a measuring tape in conjunction with the scale (if you can't give it up) and do measurements once a week or every other week. I lost 60lbs one time by doing Atkins (very low carb) and did it really fast. However, while it worked that time, the minute I added carbs back into my diet, my weight ballooned right back up. Does running on the treadmill count the same as running outside? I know that you don't have wind resistance and other benefits of "moving through space" on the treadmill...

I will look forward to hearing responses on this, as I experience this as well. I find it is worse on the elliptical machine I have at home, and not so much at the ones at the gym. It is really annoying... Rose

Certainly talk to your doctor, but one of the things that helped me as soon as I got the ok from my OB was to get a heart rate monitor so that I always knew that I wasn't exerting more than was healthy for my little one! Good luck!
