I found the same thing... most of my sugar "limit" would be taken up by my 1-2 servings of milk! I don't consider that an added sugar, just as the naturally occurring sugar in fruit seems like it would not be as negative a nutrient. Sugar is confusing. The only thing I know about for sure is that HFCS is a no-no! :)

I have been hearing a lot about shirataki noodles lately - that have neglible calories and supposedly taste great...

Try to use the gym as your outlet instead of the food - or go to a movie you would enjoy, or get yourself a new book to engross yourself in. As for the gym and the holidays, don't stress about trying to lose weight during what is such a stressful time for so many, I recommend just trying to stick with an execise routine,…

I too am a slave to the diet coke. I have done the following to help me from over-indulging: Never keep it in the house Only buy fountain drinks (that way, I feel like I'm getting a lot more, but the ice is taking up a bunch of the volume) Stick to one per day - never more. Good luck - it's a tough one to kick!

Lucky thing for you is that you are young, and your skin probbably still has the elasticity to shrink back in, however, you will have to give it time - it will not happen overnight, and from what I have read can take a year or more, depending on the person. IMportant that you do some strength training to help with the…

Welcome back... I'm relatively new to MFP, but have liked it so far, although I feel I have tried lots of stuff before, and lost and gained. The gains after the losses are always the most frustrating IMO. I hope you will find the support you are looking for this time around - best of luck! Rose

Hi - I too lost weight during my pregnancy, but like you, it all came back after I stopped breastfeeding. Sad that we take such good care of ourselves when we had a little one inside, but don't take as good care of ourselves after that little one is on the outside! Good luck in your journey to health!
