Hi Jack! Id recommend to turn it so the face is a bit more to the back of ure tricep. If you stand with ure back to the mirror, arm at ure side, the bmf should be center on your tricep. And not too low as in too close to ure elbow, it might give incorrect readings. Ive read on bodymedia website that for bike riding one…

I also think u are not eating enough!? Wow thats some big calorie burns I think!
-
Yes its still early days! :-) Im eating 1900 and my bmr is also 1400. Im going into week 7 soon and are now seeing measurement losses and it looks like the scale might be cooperating too finslly...hehe, still early enough so Im patient. Stick to 1900 I think, in three weeks you hardly have a weight increase,so that is…

Hi! No not a huge difference at all. Are you sure your activity is light though? If yes, then Id go with eating 1800 for a few weeks and see what happens. Did you see any changes in weight or measurements yet?
-
One other thing...you are working out 5-6 times a week for up to an hour? Your tdee sounds a bit low....are you using moderate activity or less?
-
I dont know which one to believe myself...!? I hate that they differ so much!
-
Youre welcome! :-) Yes, eating 2100 would be recomended. Weight loss might be slower, but you will be sure lose fat and keep as much lean body mass as possible. Which is ideal as we want to stay firm as we lose and not sit with loose skin right. :-) This is a lifestyle, not a quick fix, it should be do-able and even fun,…

Girl...you are doing terrible damage to your body, hormones and BMR. You can lose your weight healthy, get your skin to shrink slowly with fat loss and keep all your hair and healthy skin in the process. A quick fix is no permanent fix, ask thousands of MFP'ers. If interested, check out a healthy, supportive and caring…

NEVER eat below BMR. Eat between BMR and TDEE. Use this very accurate calc to get ure numbers: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ For healthy, long term weight loss (FAT LOSS) not lean body mass, use the 15% reduction. If you have 100 lbs to lose its recommended to use 20-25% You can use 20% Im not saying its…

Wow thats amajor big difference yes! But I know mine did the same with them all...Im not sure what to trust!? My caliper shows an "in between" number...... So I use that... *sigh, can only hope its ok. I want to get it done proffesionally.

Rosie your Katch McArdle is way too high...its usually less than the others Where did u get ure figures? Did u use fat2fitradio to get ure body fat % like one needs for KM?
-
Polza - for that you need body fat % Thats the only difference otherwise it doesnt help using that one.
-
Okay...this is what I get for u: Tdee - 2301 Bmr - 1484 20% cut - 1841 15% cut - 1956 Please note that we really recommend the 15% cut as it guarantees a more longterm weight loss. Might take a bit longer but u will keep it off. The closer u get to goal weight the smaller ure cut should be. I dare say u are not too far off…

Hi rebekah! Just wanted to share that the bmf takes a few days to really get to know your body and get the right numbers. By day 5 I was more sure about mine, it leveled out now by day 8 I'm sure of its accuracy. Its also very close to my Scooby numbers actually, I'm super impressed. I know now that jumping on the…

LOL Mike! You know...I dont think its that bad actually... Yes, you didn't give your body lots of good nutrients like always, but you still did give it some. And seen as you haven't been exercising lots due to your back, your body is in sort of "rest" right? Anyway....I firmly believe a "crazy" day once in a while is…

Heidi - Its from her website, LeighPeele.com. She's also the one that posted the famed youtube vid about portion sizes where she takes oats and peanut butter as example of how one can misjudge your portions. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVjWPclrWVY
