You can't gain muscle that fast. It most likely has to do with water retention and/or sodium intake.

My thighs & calves are killing me too, but I can already see my biceps are getting a little more defined and I have only done it for 2 days so far. Hang in there, we are gonna look and feel so good when we are done! You got this girl!

It's no fair, BUT in a way it's good. This forces us women to take better care of ourselves, work harder and eat healthier. Sooo as much as it sucks, in the long run it makes the women who actually care healthier.

Be careful with ankle weights they are a risk for strain and injury. Hand weights or a weight vest are actually a better option if you want to add weight to your workout.

I've found, water, protein, and fiber to be helpful. For a snack I will sometimes have an apple, hard boiled egg, or nuts. Today I feel super hungry, but I noticed I only had one cup of water so far and I usually have about 3-4 by now.
