Just start logging into MFP. All of it. Once I went through the effort of logging and seeing the numbers it was a little easier to slow down. I think in my case binge eating had a conponent of denial to it. But if I had to log and look at the number of calories that were adding up, it helped alot.

1983 Olds Delta 88 Royale. Car was so easy to drive, plenty of space for passengers and cargo alike, comfortable - like riding on a cloud, engine sounded nice when you hit the gas, rear wheel drive, cheap to fix. Currently in a BMW 745i - which has all the above except the cheap to fix part. :)

If you overflow into my seat, I get to use you like a pillow and fall asleep on your shoulder.

Either Mia Sara from Ferris Buellers Day Off or Heather Graham from Licenced to Drive. Yes, I was 13 or 14 when I saw both of these movies.

What Zach said...to become better at pullups - do pullups. use a chair to assist if you can't do your full body weight. Try every day and eventually you will get to unassisted and then work on reps.

Blink said it best. Use a SMALL plate and get just a little bit of everything. Eat for the taste, not for "fullness"

I agree I think you need the calories to maintain and/or build muscle. At least a major %. And don't call me Shirley...

Start weaning off the additives in the coffee. I liked mine extra light and extra sweet. Now I drink it black for the caffiene, which I hope to reduce as well. This has translated into less taste for other sweets such as candy, cake, etc. Once you are get used to the 'real' taste of things without added sweeteners you get…

every morning. keeps me motivated. probably less once I reach goal and will be maintaining at that point.

Same would happen to me...best thing to do is get out of the house all day on the weekends and go for a walk in the park or something that doesnt have you in front of the tv looking to graze. I had to de-program myself that the weekend was for sitting on the couch and eating snacks all day. And with some foods one or two…

This is me exactly. And it is exactly what I had to do. I've convinced myselft that the benefits of long-lasting health and fitness outweigh the momentary enjoyment of food and drink.

MFP has really opened my eyes to just how many calories are in some foods. Unreal how terrible processed and fast food is for you. A little planning and smart shopping go a loooong way. Also not trying to get the most 'bang for your buck' on eating out at restaurants is huge. For me, I thought I was ahead of the game…
