My advice: When i would lose a significant amount of weight, sometimes I just needed a break. I broke around Christmas so I wouldn't feel so bad about eating cookies. Don't be so hard on yourself - try -maintaining- for 1-2 weeks and see how you feel. Allow yourself to indulge a little, and then make it a must and get back…

We have similar goals. I'm 5'4 (and a half) and my goal weight is now 135. Friend me?!

This. Also I wrote a funny blog a few months back on when you can really start to notice: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/modernfemme/view/5-ways-you-know-you-re-losing-weight-64742

I went to a urologist a few years ago when I first starting gaining weight. I had to pee often, and very little. I was sure I kept getting UTI's. I had mild discomfort, sometimes burning. Yet I was testing negative for all the tests. The urologist said that I DON'T have IBS, but foods can have the same triggers. Eating…

Some people have it severely, and you just have to find your triggers. A few common ones are: coffee soda alcohol dairy fake sweeteners Here is a good link: http://ibs.about.com/od/ibsfood/a/triggerfoods.htm

It's a super relaxing pose that stretches the back. If you are nervous, only stay in it for 30 seconds or so and see how you feel. (Especially if you find your back and hips are kind of tight)

It's awesome to have that moment where you get serious - but do keep in mind this is a lifestyle change. For example, I've discovered that I simply can't handle a few chips - or even the allocated serving amount of 20 chips. Next thing I know, the entire family bag is gone in 2 days. So - I don't buy them every week.…

I often make my own - but unfortunately all those low fat cheeses, etc have a ton of sodium. I consider it the less of two evils unless you have super high blood pressure.

This is probably going to get me cyber punched and ridiculed, but I feel the need to say it. If you feel guilty for eating 1200 calories a day, I would really see someone (a therapist or nutritionist) to address your issues with food. Those who are advocating only eating 800 calories a day haven't lost a single pound (at…

This. I went down from a High C to a large A/Small B. Who cares... because sooner or later things start following suit.

I do dvds from Ana Brett - try fat free yoga. It's awesome :)

try a skinny chai tea latte

if you walk constantly for at least 15 minutes, I'd totally log that.

One of my fav. sandwiches: Basil, Tomato, and Mozzarella. Check out this easy to make recipe - I tend to use a low-calorie bread. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Basil-Tomato-and-Mozzarella-Sandwich/Detail.aspx

crazy teapot?! I love tea. Hook me up!

Agreed!!

I had to make a bargain with myself. I wasn't okay with cutting wine & beer out of my lifestyle, so I just drink less of it in order to make it work. This isn't a diet folks! You have to be able to eat the food you love for this to stick.

whenever I crave fast food I always compromise and go to subway, where I can basically pig out in a way more healthy way.

This. When I first started my business, I gained back all the weight I originally lost plus some. Stress management is totally key. For me, yoga definitely works. Perhaps you can address someone about your financial issues - and get yourself back on track. Of course I was offering someone I know, but pretty sure we're in…

Same boat - 5'4 1/2, currently 149, trying to get down to first goal of 145 - then to 130-135. Love friends!
-
I picked just inside the healthy weight range for my height, 145. Then I figured I'd see how I feel and possibly go down to 135, or 130.
-
Pretty much this. The last thing I need is to be in a public place displaying a bunch of nude chicks and dudes.

Wow. What an inspiration you are. Thanks man. And Congratulations!

Very awesome! That was such a great feeling.

5/4 and a half here! I currently weigh 149 and my first goal is 145 - then see how I feel and next goal will be 135. I started at 183 so it's nice seeming my real frame finally start showing. I might end up going down to 125 - but I love food. My end goal is to feel great and be healthy. Add me!

Sometimes. But I remember really, really hard days when the hunger pains were incredible and you just lose it and go nuts, binging on ice cream or w/e. When I ate just to ate, bored, or w/e, I never really pigged out like I did when I was truly starving.

I can't see your diary, but here is what has helped me. Hope this isn't crap advice - you've lost a significant amount of weight already! One, I never ever just eat 1200 calories except on rare occasions. It would be cool for a week and then I would totally lose it and binge on everything in sight. If this is your calorie…

You guys must be looking at crap sites. There are some amazing vegetarian resources out there.
