I've used MFP exercise defaults most of the time and I've lost 23 pounds. But, if I do things like bike for 20 minutes but it wasn't that strenuous, I might say I only biked for 15 to play it safe. PS: I do mostly yoga & aerobics.

ditto - we're vegetarian so a lot of our $$ is fresh produce

Eat! Going over a bit every now and then can actually help you lose weight. It's not cheating. If you're starving, and you feel a little ill, eat! I can drink 12 cups of water and still feel pretty ravenous.

If I just eat one peppermint, I assume by walking around I'm going to burn off that 10 calories. A handful of jelly beans? Gotta record that stuff.

Crap, really? That is a really good idea. I don't think sodium is the root of all evil, and some food, like rice really needs a dash or two, but overall, we just have wayyyyyy too much salt in our diet. My weakness is canned beans (vegetarian) Guess I'm going to have to finally buy the dry stuff.

Have you tried eating lunch at your desk and actually going for 20-30 minutes brisk walks on your actual lunch break?? this could be the ticket!

Lipton is pretty crappy tea - I was told by an Indian man, super old and almost blind - that Lipton actually buys the "leftovers" from the tea companies in Pakistan, etc. No idea if it's true or not, but I believe it. It's not good quality stuff.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, how ignorant is he? Has he ever heard of Gwen Stefani - who btw, USED to be fat as a kid/teenager? Who is married *gasp* to Gavin Rossdale? How old is this kid? 12? It's at the very least the level of his maturity. So sorry you had to sit through that. So many amazing people have reformed…

Yeah. I'll be blunt. You need to kick this guy to the curb. When I gained a crap ton of weight, my husband was still way into me and my body. A lot of men are - maybe for the same reasons some men are super attracted to their pregnant wives (bigger breasts, more curves - hormones aside) But mostly, gaining some weight…

It's great for the vajay-jay, but other than that I'm skeptical about the magical powers it has. It's low calorie and enjoyable to eat though. I don't think the sugar is a problem either. That's just MO. Enjoy!

And here I thought st. patty's day was all about the booze! Make your favorite Irish meals, but substitute morningstar or another brand of Italian sausage and your'e good to go!!

green tea DOES have caffeine, especially if you are drinking 5 cups a day. Which of course, makes you pee and thus, dehydrates you. I sometimes count herbal tea, but honestly, nothing helps you lose weight like straight up water.

You still have 600 calories left.... so... eat up!! Get a bowl of cereal, some peanut butter crackers, some bean salad. I eat every bit of my calories, and you should!

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No pasta?? You are crazy. Life is way to short to cut out all the foods I love.

I drink wine, eat cheese, pizza, whatever, all within my calorie goal. People are still treating this like a diet where they deprive themselves of the food they love so they have to have "cheat days" to make it. If you do that - this won't stick. All you have to do is just stay within your calorie goal. Cheating should be…

#1: I eat anything I want - all staying within my calorie goal. #2: A whole cheat day is totally detrimental if you don't count calories and go over by 1,000+. #3: Going over your calorie goal by a couple hundred? Okay. I have seen people talk about having 1-2 cheat DAYS a week. Not a cheat meal. Not going over by a 100…

Yikes!!!! I never eat any food with HFCS or hydrogenated foods so I personally don't feel scammed, but it's ridiculous what the food administration thinks is okay to eat. How can we make a change?

I think wanting to be at a healthy weight when I get pregnant (so I can be all belly) is what is really motivating me right now. I've lost 20 pounds in the past, but by the time I got to 159 (and I wasn't even at the healthy weight range yet) I felt so good that I just... stopped. What kind of sense is that? Now that I…

can you make pumpkin butter?

soda is crappy for you, but if you drank all of your water for the day and you want to go a little nuts with some diet soda - be my guest :) I'm a firm believer that anything in moderation is fine. Except for maybe rat poison.

In the neck, i do big and slow neck rolls for a few minutes and then just take it easy, take a bubble bath or something with some Epson salt.

You are what they call a Pescetarian - a meat eater who only eats fish. True vegetarians don't eat any meat - but hey, it's always an option later down the road. Took me a bit to fully convert. I must say I do miss fish at times. Here is an old recipe I used to make:…

Same here!! I have a few pounds to lose to I can get pregnant and be a nice, healthy weight.

Seriously incredible

Now couple this with the fact that the conditions in which they treat that 35% of cow are absolutely inhumane. #beingvegetarianisawesome

sounds awesome. I had my fun last weekend, and not quite in the mood to go totally nuts. I plan to make some homemade miso soup and maybe some play video games. haha!

I wouldn't worry TOO much about that. And definitely don't try to refuel yourself with fruit. (sorry dude. lol!) You need something that packs a punch. Trail mix. Energy bars. Waking in the snow is hard work, and you need some calories to keep you strong. Not enough fuel is the reason a lot of hikers stumble and hurt…

Wow dude, how exciting!!
