I like this comment, especially written by someone who has already lost a lot of weight, gives me faith that by letting myself have a weekly treat of chocolate (within my calories) isn't going to undo the healthier choices I am trying to make the rest of the week.

I hope you get some clothes donated. In the meantime have you considered your local charity shops. I am having the same problem as you and found a nice top and pants very very cheap in our local shop (£4.50 all in). Also consider having your clothes altered to fit you, a lot cheaper than replacing them. All the best.

Mine is 9lbs, debating about hanging on until I find it easy or downsize to a 6lbs. Think I'll stick with my 9lbs one and save my money for a heavier one if/when I need one.

I have done two sets of 20 today (two sets of 15 yesterday) so up to 70 swings. I don't think I'll get to 10500 Swings but I'm going to see how many I CAN do.

Thanks for all the lovely posts. :) I am glad I kept all my small(ish) clothes and I will hold the small stuff for *when* I fit back into them. But what about my bigger stuff my 22, 24 and a few larger ? Do I chuck them OR hold on to them for the time being ?

Updat. Doctor said she thought I had sprained by long inner leg muscle from where I was showing the pain to be. She thinks it will heal fine. I am not to exercise until I am 100% pain free. Keep up the basic walking to keep leg mobile. Phew. I must build up my running slowly and stretch more.

As I am a completely newbie to Kettle bells. i.e.I bought an 9lb one but my hurty knee mean I have done nothing but look at it for a week :( Is there just one basic swing or is there more than one type of swing you are doing...off to…

Thanks for the posts. Yes, I'm new to running (just three weeks in) but doing the aerobics with no problems for four months. Yes, I might of tried to hard. Too true. I guess I never thought too hard about what is in the food I eat, which is why I am so fat atm. I love that MFP shows the break down of what is in the food I eat, helping me make healthier choices in the main, though I still have a long way to go.

I normally eat carrots or apples for snacks and dark chocolate on occasion ;) I will be avoiding bananas in the future to be sure. I see mention of Nuts as a snack are they not really high in fat ? Which are the best/cheapest nuts to eat ?

Thanks for that, I've only just added sugar to my diary and was horrified that I have been over most days but due to fruits and veg. I can't see how I could ever eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day AND be low enough for sugar for MFP.

Thanks I'll try that for the chair lift, sounds more doable. I ended up jogging around the room during the second set of tri-rises, until I realised I could just fast forward to the cool down, silly me.
