I had the exact same experience on 1200 calories a day. I finally changed from 1.5 to 1 pound a week, which gave me 1330 calories a day. It's amazing that just 130 calories more could make a difference.

Wow, thank you for the quick replies. Now that I've read your thoughts, I do seem to remember something about how you need to focus on the inner layer of abs (core) and not the outer layer.
