Yes, you can have fruit as snacks, although I would suggest something with protein (cucumber with hummus, turkey breast wrapped with a slice of cheese, an apple with a TBSP natural peanut butter)

I love a good salad! (look up salad in a jar on Pinterest)... I'm big on chicken and sweet potatoes, whole wheat pastas with chicken and sauce, I sometimes do a green shake for lunch too. I actually heard that we should monitor fruit intake. I usually stick with 2-3 servings/day. Fruit is also high in carbs too. But, as always - fruit is always better than a candy bar! lol

I do step classes ALL the time! Les Mills classes are popular now... and my gym offers combo class like "step and core" or "step and kicbox"... they're fun!

I'm giving myself a B for this past weekend. I exercised, watched all of my portions and monitored my eating. I had alcohol ( a cocktail and wine) on Friday and Saturday. However, this is much less than my 3 cocktails that I have at happy hour so I was happy with that!

I earned an A!!! I drank well over 10 cups of water, stayed under my calorie goal on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and worked out over the weekend. I honestly think that motivated me to stay focused today and make healthy choices. Excited about the weeks to come!

SO glad I stayed under my calorie goal for the night and I'm not eating after 8. I'm planning to burn about 500 calories tomorrow, which should help if I want to treat myself then. I'm determined to lose this 15 pounds!

WATER!!! I am a sweet tea addict and I love soda. I'm also a fan of martinis! So, getting in 80+ oz. of water a day instead of the sugary stuff has definitely helped.

I brought a "save your do" head wrap - and it helps my edges! I wear it and keep my hair in a ponytail. But, I'm willing to sacrifice gorgeous hair for the gym.
