Nice work! I'm 152

@mikes99mail maybe 175? I don't know you're height, but you look tall and fit! I'm 5'7" (female in the pic) Bored at work...

Agreed--don't fool yourself into believing it's muscle gain :)

I'm sure plenty of people are going to say this, but you do not have a lot of weight to lose (according to your ticker), so 1200 calories is likely too low for you. You would probably be better off eating a high calorie amount consistently--that number will depend on your height and whatnot, but I have about 20 pounds to…

To say that strength training doesn't burn any calories seems absurd. I work up a good sweat and my heart rate shoots up as well. Just try to make a low estimate by using "strength training" in the cardiovascular exercises section.

Eat the icecream! Haha, two 1/2 cup servings are probably only around 350 cals depending on the type of icecream. That won't ruin your progress

You look great!

I was thinking the same! I'm shocked by all the low end resting heart rates. Mine is around 75 sitting and in the 90s if I'm standing at all. I'm a healthy weight and have very good blood pressure, no health problems. I think some of it is genetics--the people with low heart rates are the ones that want to post, I guess!

I've heard that HRMs aren't really made to be used for very low intensity workouts like walking (or golfing). But don't quote me on that!

It all depends on the person--this thread is almost depressing to someone like me with 26" meaty thighs! So, I would be very happy with 23" thighs. I would just say, don't set extreme or unrealistic goals for your body. Not everyone can be runway model size. You sound pretty small to me!

Glad to hear this!

Thank you for all of the responses! I'm going to assume my HRM is pretty close! I'm glad to hear that others have similar heart rates---I never worried about mine until my trainer made a fuss about it yesterday, but I'm starting to realize that she has an especially slow heart rate (probably because she runs long distance)…

THIS!!!! It took me a couple times to realize that I was looking at serving size and not calories---I've had the subway melt and the 12" is definitely not 500 cals haha

You look great! I love that you lost the weight while eating higher calorie--it will be so much easier for you to maintain! Such an inspiration!

I'm 22 now and have had my belly button ring for about 5 years. Besides one hole in each ear, it's my only piercing. I'm shocked that everyone had so many issues with healing! My mom is a nurse and actually pierced mine at home and I didn't have any problems. Anyway, it makes me feel secretly sexy and my husband loves it.…

Not saying that the database is accurate, but it's not like the food database. The calories burned do actually take your stats (height/weight) into account when calculated, which is why my friend and I have different calorie burns when we input the same time and exercise from the database. I tend to decrease the calories…

That is very impressive work for only 3 months!! You look fantastic!

I would suggest Jillian Michael's body revolution program--it's a 90 day program and the first month is low impact and the following months get progressively more challenging. There is a body revolution group on here--if you would like info from more people who are currently using the program:…

This really encourages me, because I'm in that 8/10 jean size and would love to be a 4/6. Great work!!!!

Thank you for all the input! I'll check out some of the options you all suggested!

When you're setting up your goals, choose a higher activity level based on your job. For instance, choose lightly or moderately active instead of sedentary. This will figure in the fact that you're on your feet for the majority of the day and give you a higher calorie goal. Edit: Everyone beat me to it! Haha

I've heard that the "fat burning zone" is kind of an old idea in fitness. Any trainer that I've met says to go as hard as you can and ignore the "zones"
