  • i just started again yesterday too. once I'm in ketosis, I'll start adding in intermittent fasting as well. But right now, I'm just trying to keep my macro percentages close to on target and not eat carby crap. Starting to eat healthily again is always a struggle for me.
  • I've been on and off. trying to get consistent and the amount of macros that work for me.
  • I'm doing it too. struggling for consistency and hitting the macros right.
  • Just starting keto and IF also. I'm 5'3, 191 and 48yo. I'm thrilled to find some input from others doing the same.
  • Are you guys counting total carbs or net carbs in your percentages? if its net carbs, is there a way to set that up in MFP? I'm glad you all are here and posting.
  • oh, thank goodness for you people! I thought it was just me.
  • I was started on levothyroxine about 2 months ago, 25mg, based on symtoms despite TSH in normal range. I have noticed no change at all. No weight loss, no energy shift. It's so hard to stay motivated when eating well and exercising doesn't seem to make a difference, but I'm trying. I can't wait for bloodwork at 3 months…
  • Hi, I haven't figured much out yet. Some of what I've read is avoid gluten and goitrogenic foods, because both lead to inflammation. • I'm about to buy a used one. How has your experience been with it? I figure I'll keep doing the elliptical, strength training, and yoga but add that.
  • all that sounds yummy. I get bored too, and husband isn't into a lot of veggies either, and he hates beans. However, he will usually eat whatever I make, especially if its healthy. My children on the other hand... My favorite recipe source is eatingwell. I have 3 cookbooks and use the eatingwell.com website often. Today…
  • what I have found helpful is just knowing that I'm not crazy... this is real and others are experiencing it also. I really like my PCP but I think we are still often treated as if we are making it up. When I did the research and discovered that all my symptoms match hypothyroidism and/or perimenopause it was such…
  • ugh. I hear you. Im wondering if i can get bloodwork without a drs order, because i can't wait for six months since my last test. If the results are normal again I might totally lose my mind. 20lbs on in 6 months when doing the right thing isn't normal.
  • I've been diagnosed with hashimoto's too. I have the antibodies but my thyriod function has remained normal. So no meds so far. I had lost about 40lbs over the last few years thru diet and exercise but now ive gained back 20lbs while still eating well and exercising 5x week. I've had Crazy mood swings, huge reduction in…
