Real Food. I don't care for most low-fat versions or sugar-free items. I just watch portions and limit sugar.

That's how I do it also. Gotta warm up those muscles first. I usually do 10-15 minutes on the stationary bike.

I can relate to the knee issues. Had surgery on one a year ago and trying to hold off the other. My doc said I will have to get both replaced some day if I don't lose the weight and strengthen my leg muscles. It's tough to find exercise programs I can do with my knees. Standard aerobics classes are out. Anything that twist…

I'll be happy to lose some there. In an F cup now. Really hard to find cute ones. A D would be heaven! About wrinkles - one of the reasons I plan to hold on to a little extra weight is the wrinkles. My mother lost 70 pounds and looked 15 years older. I'd rather look a little chubby than OLD!

I'd had a couple of successful weight loss efforts (just need to figure out the keeping it off part..). I found I hit plateaus when my body had adjsuted itself to the calories and activity I was doing and was happy to stay there. To throw my body off, I would eat high calories a couple days in a row. I still tried to keep…

I make extra the night before and then mix it with a big bowl of greens - lettuce and spinach. Today I have chicken Marsala and a 5 grain mix. I add feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, and dressing. It's delicious and pretty! I eat 5 times a day, so I also always pack snacks - an apple, string cheese, walnuts. I also love Extend…

Just cut them out. You'll save calories for real food and save money. Just a waste and waist of both. I used to get a Vente vanilla latte from Starbucks every morning. It was a little tough driving past the first couple of days but I no longer miss them. I've cut most sugar out of my diet and feel sooooo much better.

You can do this. You have the plan. There is nothing in your way. Drink lots and lots of water. Happy 149th birthday a little early! Let us know how you do. I bet you'll even hit 148.....

Hi All, Would love to join the group. Not quite 50 - I turn 50 next May. My goal is to be at a healthy weight by that birthday. So here I am! So far so good - down 4 pounds this week. Sometimes I start a diet and I'm just not really ready to be there. This time seems different - I feel good about actually making a true…
