Hilarious! Michael Buble's new album is good start to finish. I have listened to a lot of Harry Connick, Jr over the years as well. My favorite album is by a group called Acapella (or AVB). They do a phenomenal job.

Or maybe Victoria's Secret created it to get some free advertising. ;)

Intrinsic motivation is a beautiful thing.

I really like the 90 Day Supreme workout. It would be staring at the TV a little, but it's only $20 for 10 or 11 DVDs. The moves are varied enough that it doesn't get boring. With a rotation of discs, it's even more diverse.

I like the suggestions. I'm going to go for a run early morning. Normally I have to take runs in the afternoon when my wife and I are home from work. On holidays when we are both home, I love to run early. If I overdo the food, I'll ride the exercise bike while I catch up on football.

I agree with your equation, but 400 calories of broccoli would be a lot of green. I think what I like most about your response is the idea of diets failing. We are not on a diet here. We are developing new habits for eating. This shouldn't stop after a wedding, spring break, or school pictures. It should just be the new…

A lot of people feel guilty about eating junk, so they quickly attack anyone who doesn't. I guess it makes them feel less guilty if everyone else is doing it. You can always find people to try to please, but there are just too many of them. I try to eat a very small portion so that I'm still part of the social network, but…

My father once told me that when I feel lonely, find someone lonely to comfort. When I feel lost, find someone to lead. When I feel depressed, find someone who needs it and make them smile. It may sound corny, but the stuff we tell kids is true. It's better to give than to receive. Find someone else who's lost weight and…

I have the 90 Day Supreme. Any interest in starting that at the same time and comparing notes? (You could add me to friends to help keep track. I don't know if I'll be able to find this link every time.)

If you're serious about trying to get a better time on this one race, I would not bolt out at the beginning. I always run a little faster just from the adrenaline and crowd. I wouldn't recommend pushing even more than a natural race-day jolt. If you're more interested in improving your next several 5Ks, then you should…

You look great.

I have gotten by on less than 6 for years, but then again I need this site. Since I started working out more, it is easier to go to bed earlier (even with three children 7, 5, and 1.) I find that I am in a better mood at work and have fewer temptations with comfort food when I get 8 hours.

You look amazing. I bet you feel just as good.
