Banana "Ice Cream" This recipe has been floating around a while but I think everyone should know about it. Take a banana from the freezer and blend it up in your food processor. The consistency is very much like custard and gives a smooth and creamy ice cream texture. The more ripe the banana was when you put it in the…

I dont tollerate gluten very well so that has really reduced the amount of carbs I am consuming. Other carbs like rice and potatoes take a little while to cook preventing me from grabbing it at the store and eating it. It has really helped me cut back on calories and sugars as those tend to go hand in hand with flour.…

This is news to me too! I work in retail and always wish customers a good rest of their day or weekend and did not realize that I was offending anyone. Now I know!

My best advice to you is that everyone thinks they are a weight-loss expert but all of our bodies work differently. What works for the ladies at work may not work the same for you. Everyone who finds out I am tracking calories has some advice of some sort or another but most are misunderstood facts from unrelated fad…

I tried them and they were good! Definitely not like oatmeal cookies but very tasty anyways. The first batch had too much banana as I am assuming mine were bigger than in the recipe and so they had a rubbery texture. I imagine I could have bounced them off the table lol. The second batch I added tons more oats to make it…

Wow, Im in! I am going to make these right now for brunch! I assume you have all tried banana "ice cream" where you puree a frozen banana and voila! All done. I add flavors sometimes and I noticed they have a machine at the "as seen on tv" store that purees the banana for you.. called yonanas. Back to the cookies though, I…

Well I think I have good news. Last week the bf and I sprung for a new fancy bed with all the foam and squishiness anyone could ever want. I have slept soundly through the night every night since. And I have lost almost 5lbs since it got delivered!

I was also hoping to figure out how to add pics. I have added some to my profile but i hate that I cannot caption them with a date and weight I was in the pic. Bump has something to do with keeping the topic recent i think but i wouldnt take my word for it.

I roast my own pumpkin and squash seeds. The trick is to soak them in some slightly salty water for a couple hours. Then pat them dry with a paper towel and bake them at 350F until they have a nice crunch. You can soak them in plain water too but the soaking really makes a difference to how they turn out when cooked. I…
