Beer. Beer is food.

Is he saying "he sees married men who are cougars?" I don't think a man can be a cougar.
-
I really don't care what married cougars do. I am single and I'm a cougar. I just mind my business. Now I am off to find a cub. See ya. . .

I have a HUGE goal, but honestly I would love to go from 169 (now) to 155 by the end of April. Impossible, I am sure, but it is my goal, none the less.

I have plenty of clothes that fit as I lose the weight, because I once was a size 0 - 2. And went all the way up to a size 14 or 15. Now as I go back down, I just pull out the old clothes that are in every size in between as well (my weight has been up and down many times). Plus, I am the type of girl who buys clothes a…

Hello? That's quite an impressive improvement. Imagine even looking better in the next few months  Did you follow their eating plan as well? I just started P90X today. I didn't even know I could sweat during exercise, I don't think I ever have before. It kicked my butt. I LOVE P90X! Just noticed your second set of…

I'm far from an expert, but I did read if you're sore from lifting do not lift again until you're not sore. Fish oil and glutamine may help.

I don't know what "cutting" is, but you look pretty good in your profile pic. Good job!

Unfortunately "fat" comments never stop regardless of how old you get. I still hear them from family members and other people and I am in my forties. Let's overcome this and get our best bodies ever. Maybe then you can tell you mom to get her chubby butt on the treadmill. :0 (evil grin)

Holy cow! I think I'm in love!

Thinking the world is "round" is a hypothesis. Actual proof is evidence to back up the hypothesis or refute it. You have to provide the proof. What is your 'proof' that so-and-so PROVED the world round. They "thought" it, but they didn't prove it.
-
Of course it doesn't mean it is correct. It doesn't mean it isn't correct either. I simply stated my "belief". It's the same as saying, "I believe all Catholics go to heaven."
-
I am pretty sure you can't "interpret" science. It has to be based on factual evidence which can be proven. You make a valid point in saying, "what are the risks vs the benefits". One will outweigh the other, but you're correct that no one looked at both sides of the stone. However, my thought is that you can't deny…

Dang, all I was able to say was 4 + 0, and 0 + 4, and 3 + 1.

I beg to differ. The study was on red meat. Not high or low protein. There is a difference. There are healthier choices of protein. Again, it was the "red meat" being the factor. The part I copied and pasted basically said, "every food is said to be linked to cancer, but some foods are a higher risk that others (red meat)…

Where is the, "like" button? you look GREAT!
-
I also agree!
-
LOL!
-
When you boil it all down, it’s probably far less important what individual foods one eats than that one eats a varied diet that is relatively low in red meat and high in vegetables and fruits and that one is not obese." That saying, EVERYTHING you eat can be possibly linked to cause cancer however, choose carefully. I…

Well of course it is, "my take" lol. That's why I said it.

I don't think he is arguing, I believe he is instead "debating". Healthy debate helps us grow.

What Reddy? You "hate to say it?" I thought you liked me Reddy! I like you! Anyway, I read the other article and here is what it is basically saying, "There’s evidence that eating lots of fruit and vegetables compared to meat can have protective effects against colorectal cancer and others, although the links are…

I thought everyone would know enough to "pick and choose" the articles carefully that is why I asked YOU to Google and find the ones YOU want to believe. That said, GOOGLE as I said and use the PubMED articles if that is what you so choose. Again, there are several to chose from. Here is just one. I have to get to the gym,…

Science agrees with me for a fact! Again, processed foods are linked to causing cancer. Put the following into a Google search and take your pick on articles claiming "cancer is linked to some processed foods". The articles are by the dozens to support my claim. Goolge: "is cancer linked to processed foods" **On a side…

Again, it was "thought" by the more educated to be "round" but never proven via science until Columbus sailed and didn't fall off the flat earth. No where did the people above PROVE it. ie: The prove is someone actually sailing. Where is the PROVE from the above? Pictures? Sailed? Walked? Sorry, but they didn't PROVE.…

LOL! I can agree with that, my family has never been the, "norm". LOL. It is true of my grandparents though and up until a few years ago at their passing. They still used grocery stores, but the majority of their main food came from the cows, chickens, crops and the gardens. Nebraska is very rural and not industrial. That…
-
I believe that processed foods IS the actual cause for many cancer cases.
-
I am not going by "what I was told". Documentation works for me. You show me where 'SCIENCE' proved the earth was round, because I can certainly show you where Columbus was the first to prove the theory.
-
It may depend on where you lived in America. My family in Nebraska most certainly got most all their food from their farms . This included chickens and vegetables in gardens and butchering and milking cows.

My information came from the National Cancer Institute.
