  • i eat natures own 9 grain, 35 cals per slice!
  • yeah my weakness is wine....just let that go and drink plenty water the next few days, should wash some of that extra away :-)
  • yeah i dont have just ONE sweet tooth either, its a mouth full! lol I've been doing well since the new year. I'm back on track after the holidays. although I didnt make a resolution about weight i just promised to keep going as i've been the last few months. 30 more lbs to go!
  • i go with my HRM. My treadmill and mfp are 100 calories or more OVER. I'd rather take the lower and work out more i guess... my hrm also tracks mileage as less. when i used to just follow the treadmill i thought i was doing nearly 6 miles a day and if my hrm is correct its almost half! craziness!
  • we've been eating the Barilla plus...its a multigrain pasta, still 210 calories or so per 2 oz. we've tried the wheat and i just cant get a taste for it yet and i wont give up pasta! lol
  • i agree with the above lady. water water water. if i have a bad day, which i do! i up my water alot the next few days and it seems to do the job! i already drink nearly 100 oz of water a day but even a few past that makes up for the bad decision
  • I used to love going out to eat too. until i got serious about dieting. i find that the meals with the lowest calories are stuff that i can make at home and i end up paying way more for it! not worth it to me..Chili's has the guilt free chioces which i think are like under 600 cals but its boring. i figure if im going out…
  • im all blurry about the formulas as well. i eat atleast 1200 cals. and burn atleast 300 daily. so that would put me at able to eat 1500 correct? im wondering if what i do is wrong too lol...hope someone has clear answers for us all!
  • im still playing with my numbers so right now i've let it figure in for me. 1200 cals before exercise and i burn no less than 300 cals a day.
  • good question..i usually just count it as a serving. a Tbs or something. not sure!
  • i drink almond milk now..90 cals per serving. comparable to skim but tastes way better!
  • i'd suggest something with peanut butter. its high in the better kind of calories
  • I gained 4-5...blah!!! and im back to the grind...something i would have given up on already! so atleast we can all be proud that we havent let it affect us, that we are still going for the gold!
  • this comment wasnt given to me directly but to my husband by a coworker....(and his uncle) lol...he said "oh yeah she's F**kable now" wow. may not be able to look that man in the face ever again! haha...and he's the second man at work to say something like that!! my father in law told me im almost disappearing, told him…
  • I dont do well with breaking down my dinner calories either so i just make sure to allow enough that i "think" i'll be consuming and its working well. i eat light all day so i dont have the worry over dinner
  • i tend to read differently on all scales so i make sure to use the one at home as my guide. I weigh in under the same circumstances each time....right after waking up, peeing, getting naked and stepping on... and the wii gives u between 2-5 lbs or so depending on how heavy your clothing is ,and for me its never the same as…
  • i saw the zumba game at walmart day after christmas. i found that odd! lol...almost bought it though.
  • im really gonna have to break down and buy it. i've heard nothing but good things about it!
  • wow you've done a great job! you looked good before but wow! good job!!! and yeah once i get to the maintaining part im kinda frightened too!! eeek!
  • you can do it!! this site is amazing and the support is overwhelming! I started out having to lose 85+...50 from first baby...lost 30 then got preg again and gained another 50 (which i know doesnt equal 85 lol) but my goal is to be back to the weight i was when I met my hubby! and im 35 lbs from that now! if you can be…
  • all "clean" foods...nothing processed (or limit it) alot of advice i hear is to stay on the outer aisles of the grocery store...all foods in its natural form...plenty protein and fibers :-)
  • mine do it too...i drink probably 3 bottles of water while i walk.....and i use some hand weights a little too...seems to help keep them moving..dont know the cause though..
  • i just heard from a friend, something that might help you...it takes 2-3 weeks to break a habit and start a new one....if you can fight through this craving and not give in..you're that much closer to breaking that cycle. i fight cravings almost daily but like another person said turn that energy (that craving) into…
  • i think alcohol has A LOT to do with weight gain, or no loss... you dont think that much can harm your progress, but for me i do best to just stay away! i love wine but i dont even keep it in the house anymore! can never drink just one glass lol
  • i have many days like that.alot more here lately..but my problem isnt running to the store, its the food thats in the house from the holidays! i know i wont make a run to the store just for junk so thats not my worry..its having it all here calling my name and i cant seem to curb it no matter what i do!
  • I know alot of people eat back their exercise calories....some eat half, some dont at all...its all about what numbers work for you..i eat back probably half of mine, still trying to figure out my numbers as well... i think 1200 is the minimum you should be eating, so if you're only eating that many and then you exercise…
  • id say give your body a rest. it needs to heal and over working it right now isnt the best idea. try to eat a nutrient rich diet to bring u back up to speed and resume exercise after it's passed
  • yep like everyone else said get a HRM!! best bet for more accuracy. I have been overestimating calories burned for 6 months by not having one! my treadmill is a good 100 calories more than what my hrm reads..and mfp seems to be more in line with the treadmill, so its been wrong!!
  • not sure at all but i've seen some count tea....sometimes i count it sometimes i dont..hows that for consistency lol...depends on what kind of tea in my opinion..an herbal one i probably would
  • i do...you may not want to (but what days do you honestly WANT to work out anyhow??!) for me it helps me ignore my cramps and not lounge and veg out all day.
