  • >.< Nah, really. Try doing something productive to get your mind away. Something that also is aggressive. For instance, if you play games, step in and kick some *kitten* on Xbox or PC on your favorite (MOST MENTALLY CHALLENGING) game. Whatever you do, make it engage OTHER parts of your mind in strong ways. What are your…
  • This is awesome! I earned my Weekend Warrior Achievement this weekend and am glad to know others are using it as well. It really does work!
  • My portion was Cheesecake Factory large. It doesn't look like they skimp like some others do. I think they genuinely just use low-calorie foods and cooking methods.
  • First: Be honest with yourself. If you log the calories, the next day that you're under (tomorrow! :) ) will feel great. It's so easy to go over: The deliciousness of wine. A horrible day. Someone at work brings in your favorite Andes Mint cookes. We have all done this before, and I find that I really use those moments to…
  • I don't know that I agree here. After all the chili I had is on the regular menu with a LOT more calories that I can only imagine from the dumping of cheese all over a wonderfully flavorful dish. As for cheesecake, I'm not much for sweets, so it's easy to have none. >.<
  • I always say I'm half worthless by mid-afternoon. Are you also a "morning person"? Because I am, and I find that this is just the balance for me. I've found that getting up and taking a walk and planning some caffeine for mid-afternoon helps me a LOT! Also, I plan my workday to make afternoons where I do less intense…
  • Thanks for the info! Do any of the other games have specific fitness features like Dance Central? If so, how do they compare? Specifically, I'm interested in Just Dance, because that endless mode seems cool!
  • Do you also play Dance Central? I've never tried Zumba. Do you like it for the exercise, or is it also really fun like DC?
  • How is this working for you so far? I find myself asking "Why bother?" I mean, is it only to pair with a meal? Do you find that it still relaxes you? I'm just cutting wine (alcohol) out completely about 4 night a week myself, but am very curious what led to your decision. Thanks!
  • Yeah, I agree that Nike+ is really intense. It's fantastic for a good workout in your living room. If you love Dance Central 1, though, I would still stick to my OP. The new game is LEAPS and BOUNDS over the first one - especially in the fitness features.
  • When did you leave? There's been a whole lot added since launch and way more coming with expansion. :)

  • Oh, I have it! I've done one cardio and one strength workout and yeah... holy hell. It's NOT quite the fun workout as DC, but I've taken to dancing as my warmup. Pure and simple, the other one is when I want to kick my own *kitten* and workout... not just have fun and burn cals. >.< BUT YES! I second the Nike + as the…
  • While I wasn't shocked, I have always left room for 600 calories of wine, because I love it. Pure and simple: I've chosen to make better progress towards my goals by simply skipping the wine at least 4 nights a week. It's hard to get used to if you're used to enjoying it while unwinding at the end of the day, but it's much…
