I went to my local bike shop this past weekend and bought a set of Aerobars. With a little bit of work, I got them installed. two rides in and I'm definitely feeling a difference.

Yeah, I really do not want to take on relocating all the brake levers and gear shifters and such. Especially since this bike is less than a year old. I have Steel Low Rise handlebars. http://www.k2bike.com/index.php?page=bike_detail&cat_id=5&b_id=1

I would just try my best to estimate based on what I ate.

I ran my first half marathon earlier this month. 1. My race started at 7, and I woke up at 4:00 and ate a clif bar and a banana. Good idea to get some carbs and water in you a couple of hours before the race. 2. I agree about knowing the water stops. Make sure you'll have enough liquid for the race. After - don't forget a…

Not just you. The other day, it told me I ran my first 0.5miles in 7 seconds (200mph). I find that it works a bit better after I restart my phone.

I did my first this Sunday. I ran almost all of it, and had to walk a little bit due to a bad calf cramp. With you 10k pace, I think you might be able to run t he whole thing. Also, you have plenty of time to train and build up your endurance. Which plan were you looking at? I used Hal Higdon's Novice 2 plan. Good luck!

Last night I swung past Best buy to take a look. I ended up buying the Motorola S10-HD headphones. After switching out the inserts, the fit was very good. I actually like the way the fit a lot better than the s9-hd's. As far as the sound, they are pretty decent. Although, if you are looking for really great sounding, high…

I was just about to post something about this. My calves also seem to tighten up around 8 or 9 miles. Someone recommended Zensah Compression sleeves. I may check them out.

I had the Motorola S9-HDs before. They worked well for me, but I was noticing that they were holding a charge for less and less time. I did like them a lot, and I guess I may get the S10s next.

When you are few days out from the race, that doesnt seem too off. But during training, but eating normally should be alright for you.

My laptop... They removed all of the keys off of the keyboard and it was not very usable afterwards

I ended up doing my normal set of lower body lifting, just at a lot lower weight. Feeling good. no more lifting for the week.

Yes, I have been consistently doing weight training as part of my training. Thanks for the advice. I do have a bunch of pent up nervous energy since this is my first half marathon. Have to be sure to take it easy this week.
